Mitchell needs to start

ROTFL. People were joyful over this kid. Then one day you made a thread wondering why he wasn't getting much hype and asking how you could be the only one who saw his potential. Everyone negged you for being so self-centered and blind. It's hysterical that you think they were negging you for your opinion of DM. And it's even funnier that you claim to have discovered him yet you also claim that you did not even know that he existed until he played his first Summer League game.

I think you totally misrepresent the reality of the situation. I guess I have to go back and show them the responses to convince people. I NEVER said I discovered him. I knew that the Jazz were happy to draft him, which is why they moved up to get him. I just was astonished that he was that good when I saw the first summer league game. It didn't seem that people recognized how good he was at the time. That was my impression and I did get a lot of negative responses because people said I was too enthusiastic about him. Even now people are saying I'm drinking Kool-Aid because I said he would challenge for ROY. You can think what you want but that's how I have perceived it.

So, all you longtime posters are going to continue to attack me because I said I was one of the first persons to recognize the potential greatness of Mitchell. Is that it? Well, I've been on this site, probably longer than all of you. And I've always stood for fairness and not being jerks like you guys. A mighty *** to you all. I had to endure this crap once before with the ONE BROW thing. I guess I'm just thin-skinned, but I hate it when people start to bully people and I can't help it, but I have to push back.

Didn't someone just tell me that I'm drinking Kool-Aid for touting Mitchell, or not? No, I actually have very good powers of perception, which is why I was able to see the game that ONE BROW was playing with Aint

Agreed -- but I NEVER said I discovered Mitchell. This has been taken WAY out of proportion. It's like a rumor that starts and by the time it goes around, it's totally false. Oh, and I'm going to add one more thing, and really go out on a limb, something I already said to Moe, the mod: I think that if Mitchell doesn't get injured, he will supplant Stockton and Malone as the greatest Jazz player ever.

So, go ahead and laugh if you want. Time will tell. Just remember I said this first.
