The Hornets dumped salary today by moving Jack to the Warriors. Essentially the Jazz could have done a similar deal using the TPE. Not only that but Jack makes 3 million LESS than Williams.

Williams has a better 3 point shot but I think Jack is better in every other category. I think the Jazz missed an oppertunity here. Only thing I guess is Williams is familiar with Utah and the system.

That and the Jazz had already made their move. No way of knowing if Jazz knew Hornets were willing to trade Jack for nothing before they made the Williams deal. Don't think it's a big difference one way or another, except that guy long ago who wanted Jack over Deron and Paul.

Jack I think has ability to make at least one Allstar but seems to be an underachiever, and soft. One thing I know about Mo is he brings it game in and game out. Like NotDeadYet said, Mo's a leader and will get the rest of the team to feed off his intensity.

We only have Mo for one or two seasons, max. We would have had Jarett for one season max.

Who cares? Neither were a long term option, and we don't have a chance at winning anything for another few seasons.

I have always liked Jack but for some reason teams keep getting rid of him despite his production. I think it is a nice pick up for GS.

Mo easily, and I think he will be here more than the 1 or 2 years as speculated (stop gap)..He might not be the 'long' term answer, but he is the intermediate answer, IMO.

Surprised NOH did that trade. Now they don't have a starting point guard. NOH is a mess--no PG, no center, and redundant players in Eric Gordon and Austin Rivers

They want Rivers to be the PG.

They seem to be going OKC style into the rebuild by putting their young players out right away and will suck another year to get another high lotto pick.

Well, I've been pulling for Jack to come to the Jazz for months now. I feel he's a terrific PnR pg that would have done wonders for Favor's production. I also see him as a clutch guy, good in the locker room, and tough. (someone else said soft...)

I think he was good enough to be more than a stop gap player myself. Sad that we missed out on him and that the Warriors now have a competent starting PG for when Curry get injured. It's a double whammy.

Jazz missed an opportunity here IMHO.

Well, that's just Tuff, Tiger. Mo is the PG now.
Perhaps Jack is equal talent and stats-wise. But Mo brings veteran leadership. And he WANTS to play on the Jazz. Getting players to WANT to come to Utah and stay is 75% of the battle.

....like how funny looking? Like funny looking in "Fargo" or something else?

I'm too out of the loop to catch the reference, but he' funny looking in this picture:

It just seems like a lot of the time his eyes are more closed than open.
