Mock Draft 3.0 (Full Draft)

Yes, I'm the person who made that obvious when everyone was complaining about Ochai not playing and Walker getting lower minutes early.

You misunderstand what I'm implying. Rudy Gay being on the roster means we still have ways to lose games.
A competent vet... even if they are ******... wrecks the "rookies will get time and eff us up making us bad" theory. If it isn't Rudy Gay it will be Dunn or some other scrap heap vet. Unless Hardy loses his touch... teams with mediocre talent that play hard will win 35+ games in the nba.

Well I guess we will see. What they do/are able to do in FA will say a lot.

Jazz are the only team that will improve next year and everything we saw in the final 20 games from the guys we played was real so we are going to win 46 games next year despite having 2-3 rookies on the team who will be getting minutes.

Forgive me HH, I now see the light.
Nope but we have Lauri/Walker/KO/Dunn/Ochai/Sexton as a base and like 50% of the salary cap to figure out the rest of the roster. Only a couple teams will be looking to dump salary. Didn't say we'd win 46... I'd lay $1,000 easy that we win more that 26.

When projecting wins and losses remember there were a couple dudes in here telling you the Vegas over/under on us was free money @Elizah Huge and myself... there was some other dumbass who saw a pre-season game and started a thread saying "rest assured the Jazz will suck this year".

So anyone lining up with Cy... just know... he's been loud wrong about this before and that was with a lot more information. We have a draft lotto and FA with a **** ton of money to spend in between now and the start of next year.

Just for the record, I dont think it's going to be 26 wins at all. I expect like 32-35 wins.

I'm sure Elizah will take Dick for Orlando which would give Orlando an elite draft with Walker and Dick.

Listening to Locke... he already walking back the 26 thing.

The Jazz must compete next year or the team is ruined!
Absolutely no one is saying that. What is being said is that the jazz will unavoidably compete next year. They were too good to tank this season when they tried pretty damn hard and next they will have a better roster than they do this year.

But post trade deadline we were pretty ***.
You talking about the part of the season after we trade 4 rotation level players for a draft pick and didn't play sexton or clarkson at all? Ya I dont think we sit healthy starters next year or trade away rotational players for trash. Add in some lottery players and a free agent or two. Ya, no tank you.

The next time a team goes a whole season without injuries will be the first. Our depth will be young and/or ****.

Agreed. Do you think we will sit HEALTHY starters next year doe? Do you think we will trade good players for garbage next year? Do you think Ochai, hardy, kessler, sexton, lauri, tht, dunn, get worse or improve as they age? Do you think we add a total of zero players in free agency or trade?
Our depth will be less **** next season. Really not possible to have depth that ****** unless you try really really hard.

Seriously? What a clown.
It was "well listening to them talk... I think maybe 26 wins isn't the direction... wishy washy type stuff".

It was not nearly as bad as his anti-tank Andy Larsens rant he did for like 30 minutes... then they next day started spinning the tankathon wheel on every episode.

I don't think we understand how truly bad you have to be to go 26 or lower. Like you have to actively try most of the year to tank or you have to have catastrophic injuries that you don't address or be completely incompetent.

IDK why you are so stuck on 26 wins just because you heard Locke throw that number out because he was doing a +/- 10 thing

We can tank with Lauri. Everyone got off to a fast start and we won 10 of 13 games. Had it been status quo all year I estimate we might’ve gone 32-50 good for the fifth pick odds in the lottery. JC, KO, Beasley, Vandoand even THT played well to start. We can tank with Lauri
