Jazz trade with Sacramento to prevent them from drafting Ferdetter and leaving him available at 12. If he's all the fan boys claim he is it's the biggest steal in draft history, but if he's not it's still a stroke of marketing genius (however obvious).


*** One final edit. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong about the trade I suggested and that Bismak will be forever out of our grasp, but I'm going to stick with the order of picks I had previously entered. If I get anything correct I'll admit right now that it was more by accident than design. What a crazy draft this is shaping up to be.

Hmm. I guess not? I'm just not sure of the value of a guy whose strength is rebounding but is trying to be a 3. I don't think he fits with the Suns, and I think Faried fits with the Rockets up-front philosophy too well (getting back to D, locking down the paint). He'll be an okay pick for anyone, but not a great pick for anyone either. I could see him anywhere 6 and on.

As far as a prize goes, I could at the very least create a custom title saying, "Winner of the 2011 jazzfanz mock draft contest", or something like that.
