Mock Draft Exercise #1 - Pre-NCAA Tournament

This is the trade up spot for the Jazz if they are so inclined. But today the Heat just take Kon Nipples and he immediately gets a tan, earrings, and shaves steps into his hair and becomes a disgusting brother with Tyler Herro.

Love that you guys are doing this. Gotta ask 1) Have Ainge and Riley done many deals? It is my understanding they don't get along. 2) What do you guys think the Jazz have to trade to get this pick?

Do we think Philly keeps their pick if they got this pick or would they trade it?

On one hand they might be the most win now team in the league next year.

On the other hand they might be one of the teams most in need of rebuilding.

Word is that Joel Embiid's future could be a bit murky after this surgery. So they need to figure that out before making other big decisions.

Orlando needs help in their backcourt, since their guard rotation kind of suggs, err...sucks. Fears and Richardson are gone. Traore is a reasonable pick, but he's small and his shooting has been flakey. I'm not a believer in Saraf.

I'm going to roll the dice on Sergio de Larrea from Valencia. I think he's a top-20 guy when it's said and done. He's likely available at #25 in this exercise, but I'm not drafting with that pick, so....it's Sergio.

I'll take the guy @Ferguson_Mellochill should have taken to pair with Wemby... CMB. He can be what Sochan was supposed to be.

Ideally I wouldn't have Khaman and CMB in the same draft but I think Khaman is gonna be a backup center anyway so...

If I were the Spurs, I would be entertaining trade offers for Maluach. My target would actually be Beringer, but I like CMB for the Spurs. The thing is, Wemby wants to be out on the perimeter and play in space, so the Spurs actually don't have a rim presence other than maybe Sochan. On defense, the combination of a big who can paint-protect, allowing Wemby to roam, would be devastating--like a better version of the Cavs' defense.

FWIW, I think Maluach is going to be a starter in a couple years.
