What's new

Monson say it now two! Trade Hayeard for star NOW!

Sure, right away! Should we trade him for Curry or Lebron? Decisions, decisions...

And the realist Jazz fans finally know that it's time to trade ANYONE for better talent (I.E. Monson).

OP says two... Trade him to both teams and get both guys... How have we not figured this **** out yet

Would anyone trade Hayward for James Harden?
That might be the only legit top ten franchise player available if Houston blows up the team.
Jazz would have to give Rockets a lot more than Hayward also.

They may do it for Hayward and two 1sts...and Lyles...we should probably do that deal and I'm not sure I'd want to...I hate Harden.

This. I think anytime you can get a talent that can score 30 points with ease you have to do it even if you don't like the attitude of the player or whatever.

I remember a Jazzfanz discussion a couple summers ago regarding the jazz trying to get a harden or westbrook and people saying that they didn't want then because of ball hog/lack of defense/bad attitude or whatever.
We can't be choosy when it comes to legit first option scoring stars. The perfect one is not at all likely to come along (curry, durant, lebron, etc).

Beggars can't be choosers

Sure, if Hayward can land us a better player than him we should trade him.

No, we should not trade him for a worse player or a pick that has a higher chance of being a bust.

Great news is that Jazz are one of a few teams that can keep their players and keep improving and developing into a good team or they have the assets to trade for a disgruntled star if one becomes available. If a team wants to move a good player Jazz are one of their first calls.

I hate Harden as well but if he is available we should try and trade for him if it is within reason, same goes for Cousins.

I hate harden... Won't help us win the big one and I can't watch that guy play 82 games a year... It's awful.

I feel similar. But how often do the jazz have a chance at a guy that could be a league mvp? Wasn't it just a year ago that he finished 2nd? Ahead of so many great players? (Cp3, durant, lebron, westbrook, leonard, etc)

I think he has been in the top ten for a bunch of years in a row.

I don't like him either but if you can get him without gutting the team I think you have too. If he plays like an mvp and we won lots of games (didn't they go pretty deep in the playoffs last post-season?) then I'm sure I could grow to like him. He has lots of fans in Houston.

Jimmy Butler anyone?

NAOS You didn't believe me a few years back when I said they cling to every word I type here. How fast did this come out after these posts?

Dear Miller Co.

The rebuild was botched. Bad. Please put a product on the floor so I can start paying attention to games again instead of having background noise.

Sincerely,

franklin

And if you are not paying attention to what people here are saying and the fan angst you are f'in stupid.

It's basically a sales pitch response. At least we know they are listening.

Jimmy Butler anyone?

Jimmy Butler couldn't even get a fairly talented Bulls team in the playoffs in the East. He's not the answer. Plus, he called out his coach which was a bit unprofessional.

The only thing that I would trade Hayward for is a Top-2 pick in this draft. Any other stars that we could get would be much too expensive.
