More Thunder quotes after game 3-"a giant with pterodactyl arms is patrolling the paint"

The funniest thing to me about these quotes are, and this one you hear everywhere;

OKC has more talent..... What ****ing games are they watching? Utah seems loaded with talent to me...

the other one and this ties in majorly with the first point is, the lack of comments about Rudy Gobert, who's omnipresent on the court.... It's almost like A) they don't want to give him credit. or B) they have just accepted Rudy is the long of the law and they are kinda past it in their minds, have accepted that part of the equation and are looking to blame/credit others.

+1. I’m really sick of hearing how OKC is the more talented team. Melo is garbage, no GM in the NBA would trade Gobert for Steven Adams straight up, and you might not find a GM willing to trade Mitchell for Paul George straight up. Yes, George is a star, but he’s not a superstar. DM has a superstar ceiling. Westbrook is better than Rubio, but I think we’re seeing that Rubio playing in Quin’s system is good enough to negate Westbrook. Hell, I haven’t even added in Favors or Ingles yet but yeah, they’re the more talented team.

If I was an OKC fan, I’d be more pissed about the fact that this lineup should still include Durant, Harden, Westbrook, and maybe even Ibaka. I realize it’s tough to pay everybody, but GS has figured out a way to do it with Curry, Thompson, Durant, and Green. True, you can’t sustain that for too long but if you’re OKC, pay a few years of luxury tax and win a damn title. Should Utah go on to win this series, I think we’ll be credited with blowing up OKC in a similar fashion to what we did to the Clippers last year.

A 1st round exit is going to get Paul George out of town ASAP, the front office will over react with some type of desperate trade meant to appease Westbrook and the wheels will just keep coming off from there.

Everybody talks about how the Big3 are playing terrible in the 4th quarters of games without pointing out the REASON that they’re playing terrible is because the Jazz are kicking their asses on defense all game long.

Jazz still aren’t getting credit for forcing Westbrook, George and Anthony into bad looks, bad shots and bad decisions. It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing.

If not for an unreal shooting game from PG13, they’re down 3-0 and facing elimination tomorrow.

The thing is people value individual talent over team talent. They say the guy who averages the triple double is far more talented than the guy who plays within their team's offense. But the proof of the pudding is in the tasting...who wins is what matters. That's where the true talent lies.

These are so awesome. I always pick up on the “we’re more talented...blah blah blah” as well.

I think they’re equating “talent” with status. Sure, their guys have more star status by most people’s standards. But it doesn’t mean they’re any better, obviously. If you ask me any day of the week, I’d take talented, lesser known guys who 1) play as a team in a system 2) love what they do 3) have team chemistry 4) have a brilliant coach and actually listen to him.

I’ll take that over a bunch of superstar ISO players every time, no question. This is what basketball is supposed to be.

My favorite quote was one from game 2: "What's going on with the refs? Don't they know we have 3 stars?" :D

Terrible, terrible fanbase.
