JW's are criticized just not as much as mormons because the scope of their missionary work doesn't reach the same levels as mormons. They don't give up two years, they go around on sat mornings every once in awhile. The missionary programs of the 2 religions are not even close.
 
Actually, my experience is JW's are far more criticized than Mormons are in most eastern states, with the reverse being true in the western states.

... and if it makes everyone feel better, Kentuckians are criticized from coast to coast.

America's policies are a result of the dominate culture in the U.S. Are you confused about what I'm saying? Are you trying to deny that local politics and local laws (in Utah) are not largely a result of local culture?

Obviously, you don't know much about JW history. They have received considerable negative attention over the years.

Many JWs are basically professional missionaries that have part-time jobs. Even those that are not, are expected to be missionaries their entire life. Generally, if you are not doing 10 hours a month, you are expected to have a reason why.

What's the ratio of LDS members to JW members on this board? Especially when you take into account that many that describe themselves as former Mormons (myself included) are technically still on the membership roster.

You're a grown man, if you don't like the thread just don't read it.
