To Conan's credit, he did say he sucks at that. That doesn't make for a free pass, but I always respect when people own up.

I am no anti .. in fact, there was a time when a Kentucky message board started on an anti-Mormon slant (during the Presidential campaigning) and I wrote paragraphs and paragraphs about all the incorrect assumptions that were being thrown around. In short, I vehemently defended the people of LDS faith. Am I looking for kudos? Of course not, or I would have brought this up much sooner. I am only making the statement that I am not an anti, and you even suggesting that based on my post proves to me that you are either one of 'those' I described before, or simply a good troll.

And your post proves to me you are one of the high-horsers that claims to never bag on the LDS while doing precisely that. But hey I'm not going to dig through your thousands of posts you make every day (kinda weird) to find evidence. I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt. Let's see how long you can make it before you bag on the Church. And keep in mind I miss or ignore most of your posts so you got a real good chance right out of the gates.

You're preaching to the choir here. I know the path I'm just not very good at walking the path. I completely see your point and agree with it.

I'm sure I have moments where I am patient as can be. But they are few and far between. I teach drivers ed and this dad was all bent cuz I called his son a terrible driver. But he was and I'm not going to sugarcoat it. People die otherwise. Oh sorry should I just say "You need to do better" or "Good job don't sweat it that orange cone was the 20th you hit in the last 30 minutes but so what"?

Bluntness saves an enormous amount of time and gets right to the point. Albeit not nicely. But lucky for me the Lord has surrounded me with people with a large supply of patience.

So for you guys that can hold someone's hand through whatever and walk them through stuff you have kudos from me.

But on the flip side some people are way too sensitive.

As I said, you spend a lot of time on this site and post a bunch so screw going through all that. So like I said I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because I think it's just a matter of time before your haterism rears it's ugly head even given the fact I either don't see or ignore most of your posts. I hope you prove me wrong.
 
Why are people choosing to have religion-related dialogue with CONAN, again? Literally the equivalent of discussing politics with PearlSapa.

Dude, everyone doesn't have to think the LDS church is awesome. We're even free to express our less than wonderful opinions about the church if we want. As a lifelong resident of the Salt Lake valley (minus 6 years during military service), a descendant of Utah pioneers and highly opinionated person I for one will never apologize for sharing my views of "The Church." So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, bro.

"Hey, not only do I hate the church, I'm going to take every opportunity to drag it down, and I'm going to make sure the world knows how I feel". Stuff I hate or don't care about I tend to avoid. I don't understand that.
