Probably among the least anticipated live action movies of all time for me.

In terms of GITS: I'm also still bitterly disappointed they didn't use a Japanese girl for the role (Rinko Kikuchi would have been PERFECT).

They probably couldn't find any Japanese girls that met the boob size requirements.
 
I can't wait until we get to the ultimate punchline for this One Love character.
 
Oh man, it's all there... the 5 notes that begin that all familiar tune.... the candlestick saying to the teapot: "What if she is the ONE?" ...



I get goosebumps just watching it, I have to stop it half way, it gets me everytime.
 
Pretty sure the most anticipated live action film of all time was Debbie does Dallas.
 
I'm with One Love on this one. Y'all are frickin' idiots trying to pretend to be something you're not if you say you don't want to see this show.

Then again, I had young kids when the original animated flick came out, and I completely overdosed on it via the wonders of VHS tape back in the day. As a result I can recite the movie word for word and sing every part of every song.

I blame my kids. Ya, that's it.

Regardless of the reason...

This movie is gonna ROCK!

I'm sure I'll see it, eventually. And I'll be totally okay with it. I guess it could even be be said I'd like to see it. But to call it the most anticipated live action film of all time is a little overblown.

Perhaps. Just out of curiosity, what would you say should be higher on the list?

Pirates of the Carribean, possibly? But that wasn't a live-action remake of an animated classic. Jungle Book? I don't think so. I can't think of any others that might be close. Definitely not Cinderella.
