Most boss cat ever saves boy from vicious dog attack.

I see the DNA evidence is conclusive.

That's cute. All dogs with bull mastiff roots put into their breeding stock specifically for their strength & killing ability.

I want to breed Dogo Argrentino's someday as a business. They're beautiful creatures. They were bred to hunt down wild bores and kill them without needing a pack. It takes a mean mutha of a dog to kill a 600 lb wild bore by itself without getting chewed into hamburger.

I also like the Brazilian Mastiffs, but raising a dog that size, that can jump 6' fences, has to be one of the most expensive feeding endeavors I could find, so it's a pass for me.

Dude the dog is clearly not a Bull type breed. You have no idea wtf you are talking about.

You do know that non of these are pit bulls? Non of them are even terriers(all pit bulls are). They are all mastiffs which pit bulls are not. All mastiffs and pit bulls are molossers but so are Boston terriers, German Shepherds, Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands, and great Danes.

The pit bull does not have Bull Mastiff roots though there is some relation. A bull mastiff is a cross between the now extinct Old English Bulldog and English Mastiff whereas Pit Bulls are a mix between the Old English Bulldog and various Terriers. AS for the "strength and killing ability" of all dogs with roots to the Old English Bull dog you must never have encountered a Modern English Bulldog.

The truth is Pit Bulls are being blamed for the actions of 25+ different dog breeds that represent a very large population of dogs.(not to mention instances like this where the dog neither looks like a pit or is a bull type dog at all) If we lump the dog bite statistics of non bull terriers, retrievers, Malamutes etc into a group with similar population numbers I am certain you would see similar outrage.

If people want to ban large dog breeds all together(having the ability to inflict serious damage) although I would disagree I could at least respect their position as rational.

I said they are all mastiff's. Maybe a few don't have bull in them, but that seems a small thing to nitpick...

Dogo's were bread from the Cordoba Fighting Dog, which had Mastiff, Bull Terrier, and Bulldog. The breeder put in more Mastiff, Bull Terrier, and Bulldog, some Great Dane, Bordeaux (French Mastiff), and some other prominent big hunting dogs.

Brazilian Mastiff's have Bulldog and Mastiff as well, obviously.

Regardless of whatever point you were trying to make, most the dogs in that link are highly banned worldwide due to the overly aggressive nature they were specifically bread for.

Sorry if I was overly aggressive. Retreivers were also hunting dogs as were most hounds. Terriers were bred to kill rats. The only mastiff breed that I know of that was bred to be violent towards/hunt people(and is therefor banned in many places) is the South African Boerboel. I have Known quite a few Bull Mastiffs and they are not inherently aggressive they are actual much more relaxed and friendly than most dogs. They are mostly English Mastiff and they haven't bred with any OE Bulldog in 150+ years. Temperament is a fairly straightforward thing to select towards for reputable breeders and douche bags alike.

But... Where will your brother burry his, you know, dingy? (He's a sailor, right?)

My point is:

1) Shoot all Pitbulls.
2) In the head.
3) Repeat if necessary. (Or if you're like me and just enjoy shooting worthless animals in the face.)
