What's new

Most Racist countries in the World.

Thanks for proving my point once again, this is why you keep losing our debates over and over again.

I love this. No desire to increase your own understanding of anything, just a chance to judge yourself the winner over and over again. Seems a bit pointless but whatever keeps you from feeling bad about yourself I say that's all for the better.

TBS, I find it interesting that you are crying foul over being "straw manned" and not taken seriously when you've done the exact same thing to me. I kept giving you posts of mine to read and you basically said you couldn't because they were too long and you had poor written and verbal skills:

https://jazzfanz.com/showthread.php?9826-Why-I-think-being-a-Muslim-is-rational&p=290932#post290932

I've skimmed through your main post and read your post 48 a little bit more closely (yet still skimmed). I'm sorry man verbal is my downfall on the MCAT standarized test I scored terribly on the verbal for example :(. I am not very grammatically inclined I'm ashamed to say, I learned to read late in life, my mom took me to the doctor because she thought I had autism lol and I always that kid in 3rd grade that when the teacher made read a book outloud in the class, everyone hated because I took forever to read and sound out the words.

You then proceeded to ignore everything I said so you could talk about your own points. Go back to that link and see for yourself.

So somehow you can't be bothered to read and rebut anything *I* say, but you don't seem to have a problem *producing* huge quantities of "arguments" yourself. Kindly try holding yourself to your own standards, please.

I could have said "I don't respect or value your opinion enough to read such a large post" if I wanted to be snobby but instead I blamed it on your great written skills which you clearly have advantage over me on.

The real reason why I kinda unjustly blew you off is because I constantly go on atheist and anti Islam websites and argue and debate a lot and many of your arguments are very common and I just didn't want to go over typing them again. If it was on skype or something I would have been more willing.

As if. Process philosophy/theology is hardly widespread. I wish it were, but it's not. Which is why Claremont School of Theology/Claremont Lincoln University was pretty much the only place I could go to do a PhD in it. You're just dodging again because you have no good responses, and/or just don't care about what other people have to say in the way that you expect them to care about your opinion.

The point is that you have no problem ignoring other people's arguments without giving any good reasons, and yet whenever someone does the same to you, you get annoyed, and/or you turn around and declare yourself the "winner." I have no idea how old you are, but that's the sort of thing a 12-year-old does. Believe it or not, you're not actually right about everything. Other people know stuff too.

Your counters to the Kalam, your counters on historical evidence of texts, your counters on miracles are all common objections.

...and yet NONE of those things were what I was talking about in the posts I was linking to! But I suppose you would actually have to read what I wrote first in order to know that, which you clearly have no interest in doing, which is why no one else respects what YOU say.

Is any of this getting through yet?

Your focus is wrong. One is capitalistic country, other is communist dictatorship. Religion has nothing to do with economy.
See Democratic Germany Republic and German Federal Republic. Both had same religions. One was striving capitalistic country, other one socialist disaster.

Holy crap. I agree with AKMVP. What's the world coming to?

With the proviso, in this case. I'm not sure that religion, or dimensions or religion and its opposite secularism, or its dimensions, are totally unrelated to economic performance in all cases. I can think of reasonable hypotheses that there might be a connection in some cases, but I have nothing concrete to offer here.

I'll read it seriously In the morning when I wake up Im tired and hongry right now :(.

Not that you care anymore probably :/ looks like I've already burned that bridge.

You've committed the logical fallacy of making excuses that are unconnected to the issue at hand. Please try again.

Nice one Colton. Anyone want to here a comedic social commentary that sounds like a condescending raxcism? Lil Dicky - White Dude

with them being the only country protecting Jews during the Second World War.

Oh yeah? Because Albania was the only European country who had an INCREASE of Jewish population after the war.
Nose is being held high because we deserve it. Quit being butthurt.

Dear Clueless in Canada,

The rescue of the Danish Jews occurred during Nazi Germany's occupation of Denmark during World War II. On October 1, 1943 Nazi leader Adolf Hitler ordered Danish Jews to be arrested and deported. Despite great personal risk, the Danish resistance movement with the assistance of many ordinary Danish citizens took part in a collective effort to evacuate about 8,000 Jews of Denmark by sea to nearby neutral Sweden.
The rescue allowed the vast majority of Denmark's Jewish population to avoid capture by the Nazis and is considered to be one of the largest actions of collective resistance to repression in the countries occupied by Nazi Germany. As a result of the rescue and Danish intercession on behalf of the 5% of Danish Jews who were deported to Theresienstadt transit camp in Bohemia, over 99% of Denmark's Jewish population survived the Holocaust.

South Korea is not horrible.

Correct. Through my, admittedly anecdotal experience, Korean racism is mostly directed towards the Japanese for historic reasons. To a lesser, yet more unjustified/malevolent extent, Koreans see the Chinese and southeast Asian people as beneath them in some ways. They also have used black-face in their comedy shows from time to time. It's a really homogeneous culture and that keeps them from moving forward. They are moving forward however. There is a gigantic generational culture gap that exists. Any person over and around the age of 45 basically grew up in a third world country that has changed rapidly into a modern country. Little understanding exists between old people and the young.

It feels good because you are doing the elementary school mistake of linking correlation for causation which anyone with an intellect will notice you are doing but apparently not you.

Its ok Siro, when you turn 12 or 13 years old you will develop some sort of intellect and won't get defeated as easily by me (but will still get defeated if you keep defanding these indefensible positions that are contrary to the facts). You are entitled to have your wrong opinion.

This is bad form dude. Committing the fallacy yourself while calling others out for it. Bad form. Especially when little (if any) statistically significant correlation, much less causation (which would require some sort of evidence), exists for your argument.
