15 dead so far in two separate attacks in malls.
Crazy, absolutely crazy. Mass shootings are no longer only an American problem.
Never was.
Certainly not at this level, but we haven't had them at this level until lately either. This link shows the most deadly in Europe since 1987, but it is using an 8+ dead level instead of the now accepted 4+ dead level.

Fair enough. I stand corrected.
Like anything, we hear the news the media wants to share. Until recently, few cared enough about dead Europeans (except maybe if it was the British) to make the news. We care now because of terrorism fears. I don't even remember all that much coverage about the Norway incident (although there was enough that I remember when it happened), and I'm pretty sure it is the worst ever by a single shooter.
with the rise of social media (a very recent phenomenon) the news media controls less and less - - and more and more gets recorded and reported.
Plus our society is much more global than it was a generation or two ago - we are more interconnected now than in the past.
If this exact event occurred 25 years ago, we might never have heard of it.
Predicting it won't be called terrorism in America if the shooters are German
.... and in 3/4 pants no less... lolThese dudes seem like they need some training.
Huddled together in reflective vests and balaclavas doesn't seem like the best way to go into an active shooter situation.

Ye right because the other guys pants are bulletproof
They're btw all wearing vests under their neon shirts.
If you ask me they're either BFE+ or SEK officers who just happened to arrive first and had to improvise/were mainly there to evacuate the civilians in the mall.
It is now.But why the short pants? Is it really hot in Germany right now?
