Is there such thing as a music moderate or a music bandwagoner??? You love music... well welcome to earth.

Actually, I'm not a big music fan. I like music, but couldn't tell you who sings my 10 favorite songs. And most of what I like is older than I am. Even at that if you wanted to tell me a story about the people who made the music I like I'd stop listening, because I don't care. Musicians don't fascinate me, their lives don't matter to me and I don't want to know anything about the process of making music. So I don't consider myself a music lover.

Why I even opened this thread?...I'm not sure. Chitownjazz has posted some stuff I like recently, that's probably it.

No bother, but there is a such thing as a music moderate. In fact, I'd say most people fit that category. Only a 'music lover' would give an unknown band per the recommendation of a cheesy alias on an NBA team's general discussion forum a whirl. Moderates who can name bands like The Beatles, AC DC, Justin Beiber, Kanye West but like my pal Gameface says - they couldn't recall the names of bands who have put out a song or two they've enjoyed in the past. Hope that clears things up.
 
Yeah, their are the kinds of people who only listen to singles, people who only listen to bands seen on TV/Radio, then people who go out of their way to discover music.

Now is there anyone who hates music, so they can totally thrash me???
 
So, is this thread so us music-lovers can avoid this band? I thought they were pretty boring and derivative actually.
 
IN related news... I just found out my childhood best friend, plays bass in a very talented local musician's band... his name is Chris Aguilar... has anyone heard of him?

That said, I just found out my friend is in the final for So You Think You Can Dance tonight. Everyone should vote for him.

Fitz and the Tantrums are excellent. I've had Sleeper Agent going non-stop the past few weeks.
 
Fitz and the Tantrums are alright. They make me think of Undercover Brother for some reason.

The studio version of this song is the first video I posted in this thread. This is a different version performed live recently. These MF's are going to take over.
 
I thought this was non-lyrical music. Oh I guess that is music without lyrics where this is just music that sucks.
