My Darn TV Broke Again...Who Won Jazz Game?

My TV broke too when people yelled "F - U - Trey Young" too many times during the knickersuckers game. I heard Trey say "You did this. This is your fault" to MeloJazz after the game and felt bad for you. I think he picked that up from Spida btw. In your honor, I watched Princess Bride on my tablet instead of the Jazz game. Inconceivable.

Also, I found these articles to be very interesting. Perhaps you and Spike would as well.

Just a clarification. Those aren't Knick fans.

Due to covid protocols season ticket holders are offered first dibs on playoff tickets...however, they can not sit in their normal seats (must sit in various sections; fully vaccinated, one shot, masked....) Season ticket holders (mostly older folks) are declining that stupidity and tickets are then put on sale to others. Those others buying the tickets are twenty-something dweebs who know nothing about the Knicks or the game of basketball. Look at the crowd. It looks like a Seton Hall vs St. Johns game. Not a normal Knick crowd at all. I wish Dolan threw them all out....send them back to their mommies.

They said it best. Hush...

I hope your TV is still broken because watching the Knick's pathetic performance would have been too much for you to handle.

Uhh, watching a ten year veteran coming off massive injuries going out there and putting up 30 points and being the best player on the court is actually great to watch. I would say that not having a basketball player of D Rose quality must be horrid for you Jazz fans. You have Mike Conley, we have D Rose. Which fan base do you think enjoys watching their games more?

We had D Rose but let him go so we could get the 1-seed and he could be on the 4-seed in the leastern conference. You know the Knicks if they were in the west would have never even made the play-in games.

All knowledgeable NBA fans say this:

If the Knicks played in the West they'd have won the conference. You clearly are not aware that we beat the Clippers, the Lakers, the Mavs, the Grizz, the Blazers and the Jazz throughout the regular season. In other words, except for the Suns and Nuggets, we beat the Holy Hell out of every western playoff team. OK, given the losses to Nuggets and Suns (and those games have already gone down in NBA history as worst officiated games ever) we'd have slotted in at third seed in the West. That would be ahead of the Jazz whom we humiliated on January 6th.

Randle is outright killing them - it's worse than if he was out with an injury.

What I don't get is why aren't they trying to switch things up with him when it's glaringly obvious nothing is working - everything is iso's and 3 pointers. Run the pick and roll, force mis-matches - something.

But the truth is this is the reality when you have Thibs running your team. He has no second act. He takes over a team, shakes things up, gets in players heads, convinces them to work hard - then they hit a wall and they start tuning him out - then he's gone.

Damn, your post was all blazingly true. Best post I've ever read here. You know your basketball (you are clearly not a Jazz fan).

For Knick fans who have watched every second of the team's games, this playoff debacle actually isn't that surprising. RJ Barrett for instance would have a ton of 1 for 12 games. He'd have four bad games then have two good games and fans would think all was well again. Then he'd have three more 3 for 15 games....he has been consistently average to bad all season long. A good game sprinkled in here and there does not make someone a good player in the NBA.

Julius? If there were one player on the team I would not want to take the final shot in a close game, it is him. He just isn't consistently solid. He has had a bad game now and again, but always bounced back the next night with a stellar game. We love that about him, but the fact remains that he did have numerous bad games throughout the season. To have three in a row as in the playoffs is surprising, but was definitely possible.

As for Thibs....I could see the players eventually turning on him. He gets great love from D Rose and Taj Gibson, but Thibs is definitely an acquired taste and if his team performs as the Knicks are against an average team like the Haawks, then there is no way a top NBA free agent would sign up for his team.

Fyo. radios still exist.

You need a backup plan for when you throw your TV out the window.

Again, tonight.
