My pal Jason Whitlock in hot water???

LOL, I thought what he said was pretty clever and hilarious. Also he never said Lin's name on the tweet and never mentioned anything about *****. It was implied but hey people imply stuff all the time but get away with it.
 
what a totally inappropriate on so many levels - -
it would have been just as bad had he said "twelve inches of pain" as "two inches of pain"

that reporter is totally clueless, as are most of those commenting in this thread
 
had whitlock just said "Lin is gonna get lucky tonight" it would have been bad enough, but to call it "pain" - is even more insulting. Either way the comment completely denigrates an outstanding athletic performance and equates it to something a trick dog might do to earn an extra treat.


But I guess that says a lot about Whitlock if all he thinks his wiener is good for is inflicting pain.
 
Jesus, get the hell over it moe. Whitlock's awesome. He doesn't beat around the bush and is one hell of a writer. He was out of line and he himself said, let his immaturity get the better of him.

Whitlock's a hypocrite. He gets up in arms and uses the race card at the drop of a hat, yet throws racial jokes out there like its nothing. No better than Gordon Monson. Actually, worse, in my mind.

Uses the race card? Whitlock's the first person to call out black athletes and rip into them. He's an equal opportunity hater.
 
I'm more upset that CJ linked to a story that includes a filtered word. I hope colton gave him a neg rep for it.

When he rips into black athletes, race is always brought up. Crap to the effect that as a black athlete, they have to act to a different standard.

I liked some of his stuff until I realized the egotistical rat that he really is. Maybe Gordon Monson is a bad comparison. More like Jay Mariotti.

I get your point and agree with it. However, I find his work refreshing for its brutal honesty and for that I really like him.

I'm still having a hard time seeing anything racist about what he said. Lin could've tweeted back something like, "Folded in half!" and we all would've laughed and loved him even more -- instead, people like Moe and the Asian Reporters o' teh Worldz are up in arms over a freaking dick joke. Wow.
