-Thought Hayward was terrific tonight. He appeared to me as a leader. His on court Demeanor, his defense on Klay Thompson, his post game comments, and his stat line of 8 points, 8 assists, 7 boards, and 3 steals said leadership to me.
-Feeling a bit better about Corbin. now lets see how long it lasts.
-Liked Burks in the second unit. Corbin put the ball in his hands and he made plays. He's best with the ball in his hands and still needs to learn how to be effective off the ball. I think Burks will flourish in a sparkplug type roll. And Jefferson adds a little experience into the starting lineup.
-Trey Burke impressed the hell out of me tonight. With all the negative things I have been hearing about his game since we drafted him, tonight gave me hope he'll be pretty good. he's young and he is playing the most difficult position on the court, but I think he'll be fine. Did you notice he has great length for being as short as he is. Did not realize he has such a great wingspan. Think he'll be pretty good.
-Favors had like 9 boards in the 1st quarter... He might lead the NBA in rebounding this year.
-So great to be able to see the Jazz play defense. No more watching Jefferson give up 10 uncontested layups a game. Love the shots contested at the basket.
-Kanter's J looked sweet. He also runs the floor quite well. Think he'll put up great numbers this year.
-Evan's looks like he'll make things happen. Think he's a 4th big. The Jazz Fan won't like this fact though.
-John Lucas the 3rd is going to be an upgrade over Watson and Tinsley... Seriously!
-Think we will be a top ten defensive team this year. Gobert looks really promising. He is going to alter a lot of shots this year.
