Sign and trade Booz, Koufus, Price, Memphis pick for

Sign and trade Tyrus Thomas, Derrick Brown, DJ Augustin and Diop

They get their post man in Booz, young player in Koufus, energy guy in Price and a potential lotto pick

Jazz get: Tyrus thomas- Very young, athletic shot blocker with a good jump shot, excellent athlete, back up to Milly

derrick Brown-Scouts said if he would have stayed last year he would have been a lotto pick this year. He has a very If you jump shot, great scorer, great athlete. If you watched any of the summer league games he was schoolin every1 and made everything look so easy but it was summer league, but still damn impressive

DJ Augustin- Good 3 point shooter can't be worse than price

diop- Gives us some attitude, length, defense, but has a bad contract

Additionally Thomas is a restricted free agent. This is unlikely to come together. I do like Derrick Brown. Diop was useful for a couple of years but seems to have become lazy. If Boozer wants to go to Charlotte this isn't the worst trade idea.

The other problem is a does a lineup of

Deron
Matthews
AK
Millsap
Memo

with Brown, Miles, Thomas and Diop off the bench sound like a championship team to you? We would be playing the luxury tax for this team.

Move over Lakers, here comes........errr........umm......uhhh, your 8th seed opponent? (false alarm.......no need to actually move over then....)

Why does Boozer do this?

If Miami and Chicago get taken off the table, Boozer's suitors become Washington, NJ, and maybe Detroit. Going back to North Carolina might be more appealing under those circumstances, and it's definitely closest geographically to Miami where he and Cece like the Palm Trees and the kinder, gentler tax man.

Then re sign Korver and use a mid level on a big man. Add the 9th pick and 2nd rounder and Gaines and your a better team than you were last year.

Why we would we be 8th seed, we gain a lotto pick, get a defensive big in Thomas and Diop, nice role player in brown and then a mid level defensive big

I wouldn't say the trade is horrible. I just don't think it ends up being a net positive, so it comes to be sort of a trade just to make a trade type of thing.

Can't forget NY as an option too for him.
Boozer would rather stay here than play in NC.

if you guys think were getting something better than that your crazy. Its better than getting nothing in return at all. After all it was a rumor for Tyrus thomas for Booz swap last year anyway
