He seems to have nice work ethic. And wants to get better to the point of being an All time great.

" I always believe if you take care of your game, your game gonna take care of you. "

" So why not work on your game? Why not become the best player you can be? Why not be the one that when you retire from the Nba, people talk about you and use you as an example.? That's my Goal, When I leave this league I want to be remembered"/

I'm actually glad the Jazz didn't draft him. Why, you ask? Well, it's highly unlikely he would've learned all the great post moves he has now.

I'm sure Bill Russell worked with him in Boston and then this video shows that he worked with Kevin McHale. You could tell that he already had some pump fakes in his repertoire in Boston. However, McHale was the master at spinning and pump faking guys into a bad defensive position and then would get the easy layup or dunk.

Furthermore, it might be a good idea for the Jazz to bring in McHale as a big man consultant from time to time. Both Millsap and Jefferson already make good use of the pump fake. Maybe McHale could potentially help Okur, Fez and Elson develop more go-to moves, spins and pump fakes?

At any rate, Al Jefferson is who he is because of the path he has taken. The Jazz are very fortunate to have made this trade. I'm also very excited to see him play in the Jazz offense!

Yea he really did have a great path coming to where he is. Just having someone like Mchale really help Jefferson Polish his post game definitly molded him into the player he is today.
