I don't get people questioning the spurs' athletic ability. Last I checked Leonard, green, and tony Parker weren't stiffs.

The question in my mind is inside. The pacers had west and hibbert. At this point of his career Duncan isn't as good as hibbert and west. Splitter and Blair MUST play big in this series and Duncan MUST play like the Timmy of 5-10 years ago. He needs to utterly dominate bosh and birdman.

To me, the question lies in the spurs frontline. The wings and PG won't have any problem doing what they do best.

Both teams want to play at a fast pace, and play small. I think the match ups in the small ball lineups favor Miami more. I'll explain my thoughts more later, going to just enjoy the game right now. :)

Wow.

Tony Parker just went Harlem Globe Trotters and made one of the best plays I've seen maybe ever. That was nuts!

game 2 is huge. I'm interested to see the heat. They've sucked in game ones all playoff long.

Thought it might be over when Green committed than bone headed foul but the Spurs pulled through. I think this is the Heat's last year in the finals unless they find some more ring chasers. Wade and Bosh are a shell.

so lebron gets a triple double in a loss. i would love to see stats on the results for the heat when james records a triple double, cos i get the feeling this happens quite a lot

Parker's shot was redonculous.

LeBron was amazing, except he needs to look to score more. That pass to Bosh for 3 at the end was just bad. Bosh can make em, but he's not the guy you want consistently taking them, especially in a situation like that.

Learn how to use there and their correctly please. I've seen some of your other posts and you remind me of your opinion of Shaquille O'Neal (pretty sure that's how it's spelled).

...sorry about that! But I got kicked out of 3rd grade for not shaving! I'm working on it, though! Keep on my case until I get it figured out!

...forget "matchups!" Basketball is a "team" sport.....only hopper teams concern themselves about matchups! The Jazz with Stockton and Malone never considered matchups all that important! They executed there offense and let the other team worry about "matchups!"

The Spurs have a real PG and a real C. That seems to help. If Wade isn't 100% healthy, you have to give the advantage to the Spurs. They're doing a better job of spreading the floor and attacking. They're also getting good defense on Lebron from Leonard.

Bosh tries so hard to be money memo. But he sucks.

Wade sucks now too.

Lebron is basically playing for the Miami cavs. The thing is, he still might be able to do this. I've seen historically good players get pissed. Lebron hasn't gotten pissed yet. Tonight was just his way of showing Bosh and Wade that it's his team and that they shouldn't bitch about getting touches. Lebron gave them chances tonight and they showed how inept they are.

Look for lebron to post up more and score in the 30s or 40s. Also, the refs will begin to give him calls. When you piss off all time greats, they usually end up screwing your team while having the flu.

This is going to be a long series. Tony needs to keep playing at his MVP level and Duncan needs to continue to dominate inside.

So Spurs win on the road while missing bunch of layups and wide open 3's. Those shots will be falling next game. Heat have no chance, Spurs are too deep and too well coached. LBJ will win game or two for them but that will be it.

I'd love to believe this.

But does anyone remember the WCF last year? In the beginning, OKC looked like a Kazakistan while the spurs looked like the original Dream Team. Who ended up representing the west last year?

I still think this is going 6-7 games. Although, lebron better start living in the post.
