NBA League Pass/Jazz

****, I'm goign to wait and see if that Western Sports guy still does quality jazz streams before committing.

IT would be nice to be able to watch the games whenever I wanted though, because I generally have a pretty tight schedule this semester.

I paid for it last year and so much of the 5 teams games I paid for were blacked out or radio only. I didn't find it to be worth it, but if I pay for it like that I feel less guilty when I watch it on firstrow.

Same here. I had LP via Dish, but I live in LA and many of the Jazz games weren't offered - and I'm not talking about Jazz-Clippers or Jazz-Lakers. I could never get a straight answer from Dish. After talking to several reps, I got the impression the problem was with Root Sports, who had paid to keep some games exclusive. Another theory was that with the compressed schedule, there were too many games to show and not enough allocated channels, so some games had to be cut. Neither one could be confirmed so I cancelled my LP and got a refund.

I had the same problem when I lived in Texas - my cable provider would just arbitrarily black out games. Not often - maybe about a half dozen games over 4 NBA seasons. Your second theory is most likely the correct one - that's pretty close to the answer I got after about 2 hours on the phone one night.

I've never had a problem with any LP games when I lived in NY or NJ. In fact Direct TV will carry the feed up to about an hour after the game so I can see the entire post game if I want to.

I first got LP in 1999 -LOL, I remember my provider would cut off the feed about 20 seconds after the end of the game - literally

I got the nba international league pass last year - but I was able to get a cheaper price by getting a jazz games only subscription. AM i right that this year, the only option is all games?

I quit purchasing through cable providers (first Time Warner then ATT) for that exact reason. I had an Acer Revo box, which is like a media TV. I hooked it up to my TV with an HDMI cable and purchased the LP Broadband, 5 team option. The only games blacked out are the ones shown on NBA TV or cable. The picture quality was actually really good. It was litterally as good or in some cases even better than I got with ATT and there were fewer blackouts. The other nice thing about broadband is that the games are archived... miss a game and you can just pull it up and watch it whenever. I am in sales and travel a lot, so that is the only thing that works for me.

As good as ESPN has been on my XBox I am pretty excited about having the games on the XBox this year. The picture quality there has been great. Full HD. Better than my "HD" from cable providers. I can't ever see paying for cable again, and if you have an XBox I would highly recommend LP Broadband as the premier solution, followed by cable providers then mobile.

I know the NFL Verizon cell package blocks you from doing that. It just shuts down if you try and use Apple TV or an hdmi chord. Im assuming this is the same case for the NBA mobile.

But watching it on an Ipad isnt that bad. Then I dont fight with the wife trying to battle for the TV 3-4 times a week. Plus its only 50 bucks.

no last year i jailbroke my ipad an use a tweak and watch all games free and i use an hdmi cable and adaptor so i watch in a flat tv lol

eh? I just purchased LP Broadband (international) here in Canada for a cool $100.

Only 12" for me, but no complaints from the ladies.

Oh, you mean we were talking about TV's?

I'm hoping everyone rep'd this because I cannot, I must spread rep around.

For those playing at home, I'm not gonna NOT rep a classic dick joke when I have the opportunity.
