I had nba league pass for the last 2 years and have been watching the games online, this year, i didnt renew it or activate it, but i had mail that my league pass automatically renewed and i will have to pay the bill by february.

Does anyone know how to manage this activation or deactivation thing? or where should i contact in order to cancel it?

I was searching for a few days but couldnt get even an email to contact about this problem. It is so frustrating, i would appreciate if anyone gives any idea.

My son had the same thing happen. He had cancelled his LP by logging inti his account and going to "manage my account" or something like that after he got an e-mail saying it would automatically renew. But he recently got the same postcard which he's ignoring for now. If he gets charged, he'll deal with it thru the credit card company.

I cancelled my LP. I don't know what changed, but all games are NOT being broadcast this season. After not being able to view 3 Jazz games, I called up Dish to ask what the heck was going on. The lady babbled something about blackouts and regional sports networks. I told her I lived in LA and there's no way any UTAH games could justifiably be blacked out in Los Angeles. Apparently - and this must be a new thing as I've always been able to see all the Jazz games (well, except when the Jazz are AT the Clippers or Lakers) - games are now being sold to regional networks and they can remove them from LP. So I'd have to pay $169 for LP PLUS the monthly fees for the RSN's which carry the games I want to watch. In this case, it would only be the Jazz. But what if I followed multiple teams and had to purchase 3 or 4 RSN feeds to watch them all? The monthly RSN fees over the course of a season would be more than LP.

Total rip-off. After screwing us due to the strike, now the league has hatched a pure money-making scheme. Way to go, Stern. If your goal was to alienate fans, I can tell you of one person who will not buy league/team merchandise, will never again purchase LP and will not be going to any games in person. I'm voting with my pocketbook and I hope others start to do the same.

I live in Vegas and am subject to lakers and clippers all day everyday as I am sure you are. I have noticed that I get black outs when they play the LA teams, but direct tv does an auto search and usually finds it on the local channles I never visit on the 600 series. Last night the Sac game was not on the normal 750-780, but dtv found it on 699 which is apparantly sacs local sports channel. Dont know if this will helpd you, but I have not missed a game.

.....sounds to me like your doing all the right things! One question, though! Are you also protesting the pathetic NBA by not following suit and covering yourself with all those jailhouse tats???

I did that and the games are blacked out on the ALT channels - unless I up the price I pay and buy all the Sports packages which carry the regional sports networks. IMO, LP at $169 shoiuld include ALL the games. Selling to RSN's shouldn't allow them to black out your LP. As the league continues to sell more and more games to RSN's, the value of having LP will diminish. But I guess that doesn't matter. Just another way to screw the fans. And Dish and Direct TV don't care - they simply tell you need to up your monthly package. I wish I could get locals with just an antenna. If I could, I'd cancel my satellite feed entirely. I'm fed up woth the money grab and total disgregard for the consumer. And the FCC is complicit as they only allow one cable supplier into the area (Time Warner - a bigger thief than Dish or Direct TV).

I refuse to pay those prices for cable and sat so I just have rabbit ears, but last night I bought LP(5 team) because the Feds shut down FirstRow, but if I don't get all the games then I will ask for a refund which I can get anyway since for some reason I cannot watch the archived games. The archived games are worth more to me than seeing them live really. IDK, but this stuff really sucks.

i got a good offer from NBA LP,30% discount(of 169$).i pay 120$ and get every game live and archived.
