Only thing the Zags don't really have that you would want against a zone is a top tier point guard, but they seem to get along well enough without one. They whip the ball around pretty well. All 5 starters shoot above 35% from 3. Wiltjer is big and can shoot over almost everybody regardless of how tight the Defense is. Sabonis is a good dump in and kick back big. Eric McClellan got to the rim all night long against Utah so I imagine he'll be able to get in the sweet spost that usually opens up in zones quite easily and hit those shots or make the right passes. I think they are equipped to handle it.

I went from 17th place (second to last) to 7th yesterday. My percentage in the overall ESPN rankings went from single digits to 62.4%. That's Jeremy Evans type leaping ability!
Unfortunately I have only one possible victory today (A&M), so I have to celebrate my success while I can.
A$M lost Thursday....

I'm pretty sure I entered a time/space paradigm where a day was removed from my life. I didn't see any of the third round games but I was thinking this was Friday morning. I don't know why my bracket still shows A&M as a possible third round victor, either. Can't figure it out now, though, because I just realized that since it's somehow magically become Saturday morning there's somewhere I need to be in 15 minutes.
Rooting for Kansas to lose today and Oregon to beat Oklahoma so I can win an office pool
Kind of related: UConn's women's team is stomping Mississippi State's women's team (who are really good) by 50 points at halftime. Will a men's team ever be as dominant as Uconn's women's team.
I should have joined with my other bracket - - I'm at 86% with 3 Final Four teams still left and 720 PPR.
Oh well. Coulda, woulda, shoulda...

Good thing I got my bragging in before that Oregon game.
And... boo yah! Villanova beats Kansas and Oklahoma beats Oregon, both of which I called, and all of a sudden I'm at 99% at ESPN and #2 in jazzfanz group. Who would have thunk it?
Well, I called it the same too. I am pretty sure Majority of Jazzfanz suck at brackets. I don't follow College ball much at all and I have been second last year and I am going for the first place this year.
