....can't seem to find anything on the net as to who is talking to Boozer or where he might be headed! I think we need this thread to keep us updated daily on Boozer rumors! So who wants to start?

Boozer is not going to be back with the Jazz - there is 0% chance of this at this point.

Our 'meeting' with him was simply for both parties to mutually agree to part ways.

It's worth over-payin Boozer an extry few million a year, just for the increased revenue from jersey sales, I figure. His name describes 90% of hoop fans, and they identify with it, ya know?

...we all kind of like boozer, especially the way he works the pick and roll with deron on lesser opponents. We just don't want him at much over 5 million per year...and that just ain't gonna, no matter what his name is!

I know you may not see it in the papers or on the web like you're hearing about with the other big name guys, but the Jazz are working hard to re-sign Booz. I know that contract talks haven't been made public yet because the Jazz are working on some roster moves (other than just Booz) that will make a difference to the money problem and the overall success of the team. I don't know exactly what these moves are but I know that they're the reason that the FO and Booz are waiting to put out any big headline news.

I guess there is one consideration that we all tend to forget. The Jazz can offer Boozer more money than any other team. And if Boozer is all about the money there is a chance he stays if the Jazz pony up the extra bucks and extra year. I think they would be stupid to do it though.

Where will Carlos Boozer sign?

Adande:

Chicago: 40%
Heat: 40%
Nets: 20%

Probably wherever Bosh doesn't go.

Arnovitz:

Chicago: 30%
Miami: 30%
New Jersey: 20%
Utah: 20%

Along with David Lee, Boozer will likely have to wait until Chris Bosh makes his decision before he can write his ticket. Bosh is younger and more durable, but Boozer's work on the glass and in the pick-and-roll make him a decent consolation prize for any team in need of some help in the frontcourt.

Ford:

Miami: 40%
Chicago: 30%
New Jersey: 20%
Orlando: 10%

Boozer is playing the waiting game. Once LeBron, Bosh and Wade pick their homes, it should be pretty easy for him to fall into one of the slots left open.

Hollinger:

Miami: 40%
Chicago: 20%
Utah: 20%
New Jersey: 25% Orlando: 5%

If I'm right that Bosh won't join Wade, it means Boozer will. The only drama would be whether he tries to join in a sign-and-trade to get an extra year on his contract, in which case the likes of New Jersey or Chicago would have a stronger shot because they have better assets to put in a deal. However, I'm not ruling out a return to Utah yet either.

Sheridan:

Miami: 40%
Chicago: 40%
Utah: 20%

His fate is tied to Bosh and the $30 million extra that Bosh would make through a sign-and-trade. If Bosh holds out for that extra $30 million, I don't think he'll end up with either of his buddies, LBJ and D-Wade, and Boozer will be Fall-back Robin to Wade's Batman.

Stein:

Chicago: 45%
New Jersey: 35%
Miami: 10%
Utah: 10%

I've heard plugged-in people insist that Chicago is Boozer's first choice. I've also heard plugged-in people swear that Boozer wants to wind up in New Jersey working for Mikhail Prokhorov. The takeaway there is that even well-connected folks are struggling to call it. But those are the two cap-room teams that will have the greatest need if LeBron stays in Cleveland and Wade and Bosh wind up in Miami, so it does look as though we're headed for a Bulls-Nets duel for Booz. One disclaimer: Miami returns to prime contention for Boozer if it somehow fails to land Bosh.
