Well if this is true, the Nets effectively traded Gerald Wallace for Lillard last year. We should be able to get something decent as well. MaShon Brooks?
 
There is literally nothing that the Nets could give us. I would lose my cool if we get another ****ing wing for Millsap.

Yeah, have you not been watching the NBA the past 10 years? If you are an All-Star at any point of your career, you get max money. Just the way it works sadly. Rudy Gay got it and he hasn't even been an All-Star yet.

Not really. I watch the Jazz (less and less often right now). The NBA as a whole is virtually unwatcheable to me. For some reason having no interest in the game just highlights the effect of the NBA having the worst officials. It's amazing how often I think the officials are biased when I don't care about the outcome.

But when they start talking about giving Max contracts to players I think are bad players I start to take notice. I would not be happy if the Jazz traded anything for guys like Josh Smith. Let alone if they had to give that bumm a max ****ing contract. That contract will make the AK max contract look like a great deal.

I'm still mad at Sterns for not holding out longer on that NBA strike a few years ago! They could have put all these tattooed knot-heads in the poor house and changed the NBA for the good, had the owners just held their ground!
 
I haven't been following the career of Brooks but I remembered he was decent last year. May be being buried deep on the bench playing behind Johnson wasn't ideal?
 
Marshon Brooks isn't the type of guy who's game shows up in the box score.
