Of course we're talking about people not an abstract "past" or "present". Trends with large statistical variance in the category are like slot machines. You win some, you lose some. But with a society trending away from God, I'd say you lose a lot.

However, since that's not actually the trend in America, we are winning. One of the reasons we are winning is because a majority of the immigrants, legal or illegal, don't have the sophistry to deny God. They might be running stuff or whatever, but they say their prayers at the border.

The reason it's so crucial to the left to get the Mex demonstrators out is to create a myth that will be useful in curbing Trumps innate appeal to the immigrants. Everybody loves a winner, especially a rich winner. Do you know how many thousands of Hispanics work for Trump? He might win the Hispanic vote.

Babe, your petty insults about me brewing are getting old. Many of the people on this forum have seen me drink a beer or two. I don't think anyone here has ever seen me flat out drunk. You act like I'm constantly wasted. That's not the case.

You think that because people cease to believe in a completely unfounded fairy tale that things are getting worse. As if God is removing his blessings from our society. Well, if that's the case I would hope that God would gtfo just as fast as possible. We are a less violent society then we have ever been. We are a more inclusive society than we've ever been. As technology and peace become a greater part of our lives religion becomes less.

There has never been a point in human history where people didn't look back and think that things were oh so much better back then, and it has pretty much always been wrong.

So like six months ago when you had the audacity to come back at me criticizing something you posted saying that you thought we were "friends" and me responding to that wondering what it was about our connection that gave you the impression that we were in fact friends? Because to me, when I call someone a friend that relationship is built on much more than the connection we have?

Well when out are condescending, belittling and mocking over and over you are going to get called out. What do you expect? When one person turns on you it's probably them. When suddenly a dozen people are pointing it out maybe it's you.

If you don't like it then stop being a jerk. When you're on you're one of the best posters here and when you're off you're Thriller. You've been off for a month now.

I will say that all the people trying to psychoanalyze you has to get old as hell. Like Babe claiming he knows you better than you know yourself is pretty dumb.

Maybe I have a biased view on this as I always read your posts and often skip others. I like and respect you more than most here. So when your tone changes I notice it more than when it happens for others. Maybe you're justified in being more aggressive. But all that is happening then is that you've let them change and get to you and that's to bad. You're better than that. I will make a concerted effort to be more even handed. But that's the way I see it.

You stand second to only Kicky in my experience talking to you, for the capacity to express loathing and hate. Kicky has more class about it, and the others who do it are obviously dedicated "progressives" who do it for their cause.

I didn't say anything about you being drunk or that drinking is bad. I tried to use a familiar image to say there's something clouding your view of things.

What would you say is the better way to try to tell someone that others can see things in him that he is not seeing? Probably true in fact for me to make that "claim". Well, I know nothing of a lot of things in his life, for sure, but in relation to his discussions here. I don't doubt that Dal is a pretty solid person with the best family values, or very smart, or very accomplished scientifically, but why would you doubt that I've made the same mistake I see him making in this recent turn of his attitude.

A week or two in the woods has this sort of refreshing effect in clarifying what's important and what is not.
