What's new

Never Trump

That's never been my point at all. The Hatch Act was established for a reason, but it seems that Trump cares nothing for our institutions and procedures anyway during an election, so let's throw this one away too.

The Hatch Act does exist for a reason but it is terrible as is IMO.

If FBI director Comey is prohibited than so should Senators and Congresswomen/men. Good for the goose and good for the gander.

I am beyond tired of the disease of DC.

This is what I'm claiming, i.e., that there is anti-Clinton sentiment within the FBI which has led to innocuous actions (on the face of it) that have benefited Trump. The actions are de facto pro Trump. Without any new evidence on the emails, the timing is "inconceivable," as Bill Weld says, and has without doubt affected the election.

The fact that Comey decided to send the letter to Congress seems to have been taken as a green light by some agents within the FBI to do their part to undermine Clinton:

https://www.vox.com/world/2016/11/5/13525698/fbi-clinton-trump-leaks-server-email-scandal

"The FBI has what experts like Charles and Miller describe as a disproportionate number of Republicans and other conservatives. It’s also one where, if media reports are to be believed, some agents are openly and vocally supporting Trump’s candidacy.

In the words of one anonymous agent quoted by the Guardian, some FBI personnel see Clinton as “the anti-Christ,” and “the reason why they’re leaking is they’re pro-Trump.” The FBI, the agent said, “is Trumpland.”

And then there's Rudy:

https://www.thedailybeast.com/artic...ni-top-democrats-tell-justice-department.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...to-have-insider-fbi-knowledge-does-he-really/

"Rudy Giuliani told Fox News’s Martha MacCallum on Oct. 26 that Donald Trump had “a surprise or two that you’re going to hear about in the next two days.”

“I’m talking about some pretty big surprise,” he said.

Two days later, FBI Director James Comey revealed to Congress that his agents had resumed their investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, after agents in an unrelated case discovered emails that could potentially be relevant to the server case."

And why we should all fear the rot within the FBI...

https://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/11/05/why-we-should-all-fear-the-rot-inside-the-fbi.html

"The events of the past two weeks have made it all but impossible to have much faith in the FBI now. The agency has, through the actions of a minority cell of unknown size, been severely tainted, potentially dragging down the reputations of even the finest agents in its ranks.

After all, how can we trust the nation’s foremost federal law enforcement agency now that it has become clear that a faction of its agents used a conspiracy theory-hawking political book to launch a partisan probe into a presidential candidate?

That unprecedented prospect: that federal law enforcement could take it upon themselves to try and swing a national election using allegations gleaned from a partisan hatchet job financially linked to the target’s political opponent, is Third World stuff. It makes the already creepy chants of “lock her up!” at Trump rallies reminiscent of a spiraling coup d’etat in a banana republic, because clearly, some in the FBI want to make those chants come true. And it makes Rudy Giuliani’s assertion, two days before Comey’s vague oppo dump, that the campaign had “a couple of things up our sleeve to turn [the race] around,” an ominous tell indeed."

And how television cable "news" help give rise to a demagogue:

https://www.newsweek.com/blame-rise-trump-failure-tv-news-516162

"Print, online and radio news organizations all gave Trump disproportionate attention during the primaries. But what we saw on television, particularly cable TV news, was a hijacking of political coverage—Donald Trump manipulating and dominating the airwaves—in which television executives were willing accomplices. Our democracy deserves better."

...."As ratings soared, CBS CEO Les Moonves said of Trump’s dominance in the election coverage, “It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.… The money’s rolling in and this is fun.”

So the FBI lets Hillary off when she should have went to jail, and now somehow the FBI is for Trump and against Hillary. Give me a break. What ridiculous spin job.

So it doesn't make sense to you that if the FBI let Hillary off that there is probably a group within the FBI that is probably against Hillary because of that?

Politics create divides within government entities. I'm sure people within those entities stand to gain from a certain candidate winning and I dont doubt they are willing to exert any influence they have to achieve the outcome that benefits them. Politics.

Please provide me with a link to all the people in jail for classified information lapses in judgement. Thanks!

I can tell you from first hand experience, when there is a breach in classified information security putting people in jail is not a typical response. Not even for lowly little enlisted sailors who definitely knew better. This idea that we throw people in jail because they make mistakes with classified information is so dumb. But hey, keep on believing that if it was anyone other than Hillary Clinton they'd be in jail.

This and dozens of other ways have shown us how shockingly fast our democracy could be challenged. Is it any wonder that democracy has had a hard time in other countries, particularly those countries in which the U.S. has tried to establish democracy? When an aspiring dictator makes a very real play for power and may actually gain power in the U.S., it shows you how fragile our democracy really is and why I take this threat seriously.

If Hillary should be in Jail, does that mean you believe Bush should be there too? You know, for doing the same thing?

If Trump wins, what do you guys think will immediately happen? Do you think there would be riots?

Seems like there are a lot of people who just absolutely wouldn't accept life with Trump as president. There are a lot of people who would not be able to accept Hillary either, but I think Hillary haters are more likely to just complain more about how corrupt the government is, and continue with their vast conspiracy theories. In a way, Hillary winning confirms all of their rationale and would be almost comforting to them.

Trump haters on the other hand could be more emboldened to actually incite violence or riots because they feel more entitled/morally superior than Trump-voting scum. As seen on this forum, Trump haters have taken the stance that anyone voting for Trump is almost sub human, and that Hitler-Trump could destroy the world if not stopped. I think a lot of people have bought into this so entirely, that they will totally snap if Trump wins.

I hope not, but I think things could get really ugly in big cities if the Donald manages to #GEBTPMAGA

Lmao

Yes. I dont like Bush either. I dont like any crooked politicians. Its called having dignity and being consistent in your views.

You pretty much summed it up perfectly.

Man, if Trump wins, watch the F out. Its going to get ugly. I fully expect Gameface and Siro to be on the news destroying things.

My hope is that he is not elected.

But if he is elected I'll just grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.

I don't think people are sub-human scum for voting for or supporting him.

However, if they are supporting him because they are actually White Nationalists then I think they are sub-human scum, but because of the white nationalism stuff, not their support of Trump specifically.

The President of the U.S. is not emperor of the world. There are so many things that would stop Trump from Trumping everything up completely, although I think there are risks. My guess, honestly is that he would not serve his full term because he'd become frustrated with the lack of power he would actually have as President and all the compromises he'd have to make to get the simplest of things done.

There would never be a wall.

There would never be mass deportations.

His tax plan would never pass.

He'd get schooled by world leaders in international affairs.

His Presidential press conferences and addresses would be good for laughs.

Pence would never win in 2020.

Honest question.

Do you think White Nationalism is a bad thing, a sort of bad thing, neither good or bad, somewhat good, or very good?

Why would you even ask that? Have I ever said anything that would imply I am in favor of white nationalism? I posted a funny video with Trump that happened to be posted by a white nationalist. By accident. I apologized for it.

I've said before im in favor of immigration. I like people of all colors. I just don't care for violent religions, and people who partake in them. Im on a sports fan site and root for people of all colors and races. I have friends of all different races. My favorite music is rap. I hate heavy metal music, and like very few country songs.

Do these sound like traits of a racist? Im far from it.

I just dont like punk *** crooked politicians. Hillary is that, regardless of how much you gloss over the obvious.

**** you if you think any different. Grow the **** up. Your weak *** cheap attacks are bitch made.

I'm not accusing you of being a racist you ****ing simpleton.

I'm asking you a specific question. How big a problem do you think White Nationalism is?

In my opinion, in order to support Trump a person has to look past his overwhelming approval from White Nationalists. For me that is enough reason that if I found out Hillary was a serial killer I'd still vote for her over Trump.

I'm not saying Trump himself is a White Nationalist. I'm not saying Trump is racist. I'm not saying any single Trump supporter is racist. But Trump is seen by White Nationalists as the candidate that best represents their views. I don't think they've ever had a main-stream candidate they like better since before the Civil War.

So to support him you have to be okay with the fact that White Nationalists are on your team. It's as simple as that. They have a seat at the table in the Trump camp. They are his base. Without racists Trump has no base.

I am very proud of this country. It has led the world in conquering racsim and oppression of all kinds. Its the world leader in bringing freedom and peace to the world. It has brought economic prosperity to the world. No country has done it better. Ever. You god damn right I love this country. It just so happens to be made up of a lot of white people. Pull your head out of your ***. Alot of white people does not equal automatic racsim.

Does this country have its checkered past. Sure, but name me a country that doesnt. Name a race that hasnt partaken in slavery.

Stop trying to shame the crap out of white people. That is racsim you ****ing idiot.

Look. "White Nationalist" is such an extreme subculture that it doesn't matter.
It's disgusting... but it's akin to partial-birth extremist plus some.

You should drop it. It's polluting your message.

Just ignore him. He has repeatedly admitted he is irrational when it comes to Trump.
