New jazz fan here!

First off, let me see I'm pumped about this upcoming season!

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and am a big NBA fan. Usually, I just watch a lot of games but don't really have a favorite team. However, this year I thought it would be fun to get NBA League Pass and follow a team. I hope you don't mind me jumping on the Jazz bandwagon!

A few things that turned me into a Jazz fan:

1. I worked in Southern Illinois from 2005-2008. One day I went to visit a friend in the hospital in the tiny little town of Maclanesboro, Illinois. Imagine my surprise when I turned the corner and there stood Jerry Sloan! (I didn't know that was his hometown). I talked to him for a couple minutes and he was extremely polite and down to earth! Since then, I've followed the Jazz.

2. While living in Illinois, Deron Williams was in college. I became a big fan of his game.

3. I admire the way the Jazz franchise is run. (Players stay out of trouble, etc.)

4. I liked the fact that this message board was so active during the offseason!

Sorry for writing a book! I Hope I'll be accepted as a new Jazz fan. I look forward to the season and to posting on this board.
