New Nike Uniforms: How Bad Are They Going To Look?

I read that article. It sounds like it's pretty much confirmed that our '17-'18 jerseys will be: White, Blue, Yellow, and the Yellow/Orange gradient.

I'm gonna hold off on complaining until I see the final product but as of now I'm pretty bummed that green went away....

I am bummed about no green but the rest sounds cool. I wish we just didnt have the white and replaced it with the Green. There is no reason for white, its boring.

I guess the only reason to keep white would be that if we're playing a road game and the home team wears s uni combo that basically forces us to go white. Other than that, I wouldn't mind shelving them at all.

W/ 4 different jerseys there shouldn't be a need to ever go white if you dont want to.

I just think Nike is going to try and do some new **** w/ the 2 extra jerseys so they want to keep it traditional/safe for the first two.

Might be a dumb question but what does gradient mean?

Might be a dumb answer but this is the best way I can describe it.

The yellow sounded bad enough... the yellow orange sounds dumb as hell. I'm pissed if they did away with green. Orange isn't even a jazz color!!! I would imagine management has to sign off on this... wth? The jazz already have one more color than most teams and now they're adding orange? Gag... add a hunter on the mountain jerseys looking for a deer.

If you never saw the green jerseys and someone told you "we are making green jerseys" your reaction would probably equally as negative.

No because green is actually a jazz color and it was an original. Orange?what professional sports franchise has messed with colors as much as the jazz? Purple, green, yellow, powder blue, brown, dark blue, grey, and now orange? How iconic...

The jazz have gone through a hundred years worth of rebranding in 30 years... develop some identity. They finally have gear I would consider wearing and now apparently it's being changed again.

Yeah every team does that. It keeps it fresh. Only teams who dont are teams like Boston who want to jack off to the 60's.

Jazz will still have 2 regular jerseys, which are nods to the classic designs.

This is a pretty spot on comment. I'm a jersey enthusiast and I'm pretty excited to see what they come up with but the fact remains that the Jazz moved away from the music note in the 90's and have been all over the place ever since.
