That was a good read.

No real surprise but nice to hear that playoffs this year is not the main goal or really a priority. This season was not built around making the playoffs or winning for that matter but would be a pleasant thing if/when it happens. Especially good for the rebuild since they put 0 effort into the bench on purpose, so that makes the main players even better and on track to be something special. I really hope/expect next season to be about winning. Build a bench next season with some vets and hope the core players develop and we will be in a great place. They also have plenty of options to make trades if something great comes along but wont feel obligated this off season assuming we finish healthy.
 
He's becoming one of my favorite Jazz players in the last years, being only his 2nd year. The guy has such a bright future ahead of him if he keeps working hard, which he will for sure.

He was instantly my favorite player on the Jazz when we drafted him (I was actually hoping we'd get him). Solidified that in summer league against Jabari Parker, and has turned into nothing short of one of our top players and a very clutch performer.

In my eyes, he's already the best player on the Jazz all around.

I didn't like Rodney all that much in college tbh. He sucked big time in defense at Duke, Hardenesque even. I got homerish when the first thing he said in an interview was that he would improve his defense and I felt that he was really sincere. It was around then when I changed my avatar. He came a long way too.
 
Big fan of Hood but found the interview kind of whatever. Sounds to me like he is still trying to like Utah as a place to live but not sure.
