What's new

New respect for C.J. Miles...

Wow, a new low for you, which is hard to imagine. Thanks for contributing nothing to this world.

That would be great, but why would China want the Chucker? In all seriousness, the Jazz will never be able to unload Miles. I like Gordon off the bench instead. He plays with heart. The problem is that if Gordon shows potential, the Jazz will probably trade him and there will be Miles again, grabbing and chasing and missing and crying.

Looks like the Ballou Whale got a shout out from Miles...

Not giving into negativity: To be honest, I've had negative comments said about me ever since I got here. I mean, people said I shouldn't of came out of high school. People said I wouldn't stay in the league. The next year, they said I wouldn't stay in the league. I've had that. That's never bothered me. I'm fueled by that. That helps me. Because, sooner or later, I know it's going to come back around. What are they going to have to say then?

CJ is teh suxxxx. Tied and set some Jazz records last night.

https://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsjazznotes/50721817-62/pointers-jazz-quarter-record.html.csp

- Was one shy of Jazz record for most three-pointers made in a game (8 by Jeff Hornacek vs. Seattle, 11/23/94).

- Tied Jazz record for most three-pointers attempted in a game with 10 (also by Bryon Russell @ Minnesota, 12/23/96).

- Tied Jazz record for most three-pointers made in a quarter with 5 (also by Gordan Giricek vs. Portland, 4/16/07 (4th)).

- Tied Jazz record for most three-pointers made in a half with 5 (sixth time, last also by C.J. Miles, @ Chicago (2nd), 3/9/10). Also done once each by Walter Bond, Jeff Hornacek, Bryon Russell and Gordan Giricek.

- Set new Jazz record for most three-pointers made in a quarter without a miss (5-5 in fourth quarter).

- Set new Jazz season highs for points off the bench (25), three-pointers made (7), three-pointers attempted (10) and tied Jazz season high for points in a fourth quarter (17, also by Deron Williams @ Orlando, 11/10).

- The Jazz as a team also set new season highs for steals (10), free-throw percentage (1.000, 21-21), three-pointers made in a game (10) and field-goal percentage in a quarter (.722, 13-18 in fourth quarter) and tied its season high for three-pointers attempted with 19 (also @ Miami (OT), 11/9).

True, because Dave's his only critic.

Hack.

I think Trout is now THE critic though, at least according to C.J.'s family,

C.J.'s brother wrote this after the game last night:

this is what @David Ballou should be saying--Hey chucker I mean cj the chucker name was dumb any ways I didn't have much time to think of a good one I'm sorry for the other day I had way to many drinks the other day and I sprayed raid in a closed closet for 10 mins you played great good shooting

Granted, I can't make sense of the post because I don't speak Texan, but I'm pretty sure it was a sweet Troutbum burn.

CJ's being a little bit immature. People doubted the Stockton pick, he never made it public about his motivation. Critics thought Dwill was taken too high in the draft, he doesn't pitch little fits. I like CJ's game, and I know he's still young, but this stuff shouldn't get to him. IMO

Granted, but Ballou is the only "hack" that crossed that imaginary line. Furthermore, Duck's quote shows that at least Miles' brother was thinking of the Ballou Whale.

No doubt. I'll eat crow.

That said, Miles needs to STFU and just play. Seriously, he postures, cries, smiles at what he perceives as his own success, needs a hug, feels sorry for himself, and cares way too much about what others think about him more than anyone I can think of outside of Mamacita's brother.

QFT. I agree with your assessment of Smiles and Archie McKell.

This reminds of those Peyton Manning commercials where Peyton heckles the regular guy. Let the heckling begin>>>>

Dear Mr. Ballou:

Please get on FB and friend Deron Williams, Hayward, Bell, Jefferson and Fesenko. The state of the Utah Jazz now rests in your able hands.

The irony in this is he has no real friends and pretends/acts like an asshat to hide his pain but now to be happy and have the Jazz win he has to make friends and then be an asshat to them and drive them away.

So what are CJ's stats since Trout decided to stomp all over CJ's internet lawn? I say keep heckling CJ. I'll even get in on it if it helps.
