Harris 32/Backup Point 18 / 3rd Point
Hayward 32/ Bell 10 / Burks 6 / CJ
Miles 24/ Millsap 24 / Evans
Favors 32 / Millsap 6/ Kanter 10 /Evans
Jefferson 34/ Kanter 14 / Memo?

Hmm we really have too many bigs to play now. We need another big wing. I guess we can hope that Millsap can continue to develop his game and become more of a SF.

Or do we move Jefferson for a wing or guard?

24 minutes for CJ? No thanks. The Jazz are better off playing Millsap 30 minutes at the 3, with Evans and Hayward getting the rest. CJ has become redundant.

Redundant is putting it lightly. If we are relying on CJ for anything more than token minutes the next season there is a season then we know that we have thrown in the towel and are shooting for a better draft position in the next draft.

Harris/Watson
Burks/Bell
Hayward/Evans
Favors/Millsap
Okur/Kanter

Go young, lets develop these kids.

Harris, Burk
Miles, Burk
hayward , millsap
Favors, millsap
Jefferson, kanter

I'll be surprised if Burks can even hold down a regular rotation job. Doubly surprised if we don't pick up a one year rental at the wing. Not a knock on Burks, but most guys his age aren't ready. It will be interesting to see how the frontcourt minutes get divided. Al and Sap will play the lion's share, but they're going to want to get Kanter's development going.

I see CJ playing as our being best big perimeter defender. I know that sucks but he is who we have on the roster. Raja Bell is too little to guard bigger wings. The point is our roster still needs a lot of tweaking.

Where is Favors in your minutes. I believe either Al or Millsap will be traded. They are not a great combo on the court and the young bigs need minutes. We are in need of a backup PG and another wing guy that can actually play. I want Favors to average at least as many minutes as any other big on the roster with Kanter also getting 10-15 per game at the least. Preferably closer to 20 MPG.

Harris/???? Burks?
Hayward/CJ/Burks/Bell
CJ/Evans/Millsap
Favors/Millsap/evans/jefferson
Jefferson/Kanter/Memo

If Memo wants to play then he needs to go. Millsap or Jefferson also need to be traded for a starting quality SF and a backup PG. Even as a CJ homer I don't want him being the SF getting the majority of the minutes there. We are in need of a good starting quality SF more than anything. Basically use any of the following to get a starting SF:Millsap, Bell, Memo, CJ, and the rights to Tomic.

Frontcourt: My belief is Favors will average about 25. Hopefully his play pushes that number to 30. He's too raw offensively to leave on the court if you're trying to win. I wouldn't be surprised if Okur limits Kanter's minutes to start the season. KOC's goal is definitely to trade Okur but he has to play well to make it work.

Wings: Definitely think the Jazz will explore Sap at the 3. Definitely think it won't work. Miles and Hayward will get the big minutes. Millsap will spot. They'll (sadly) lean heavily on Raja. They hope Burks can spot, but my guess is a vet is brought in who ices out Burks unless Burks really, really is ready.
