What's new

New Uniforms To Be Unveiled August 16th

Absolutely LOVE the new jerseys. Love the number coloring on both the home and away, love the whole damn package!

I wasn't expecting to like them this much. I'm sure we'll get our fair share of haters on this subject, but I think the Jazz hit this one out of the ballpark.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the new unis. I understand it is all about merchandising (and I have a closet full of the old color scheme/logo) but damn those are rad. Just hope to hell the mountain logo is NOT used at center court. Although I have a feeling it will be.

I really like the new jerseys. ESPN showed the Clippers new uniforms but nothing about the Jazz new ones. Typical. The guys look ready to go. I am so excited about this year's season. It sure looks like CJ has grown. He looks taller.

For people complaining about the color of the home numbers, what color do you think would be good? Blue/Purplish it would blend in too much with the logo. Yellow?

The logo and the number needs a bit more separation. I still hate the green number on the home unis, and "UTAH" on the ***? WTF?

I really dig the new uniforms. My only question is: I thought they were going to be green? Why aren't they green? I thought we were going green with our new court, uniforms, etc.

These will not match a green court.

Are all NBA fans little bitches or is that just Jazz fans?

I think it's just jazzfanz.

Complaining about the color balance on the uniforms is weak, people. These Jazz uniforms are now some of the best in the league. They probably aren't perfect, but they are pretty close when compared to the abortion of a uniform the Jazz had.

I'd like to hear from anyone on this board that has professional art training weigh in on this, not a bunch of retards who made their own terrible uniforms on MS Paint.

I think the new unis are a home run. And a guy who runs the blog dedicated to uniforms agrees.

Al Jefferson in those new uniforms should have given everybody an ******.

I know I like them, it took a sec to for me to like the road uni's, just had to see it from different angles and what not and once I got a lot of looks at the white ones I got why the number was a different color. So all and all I would say they did a very very nice job in the design of these, keeping the retro look with a bit of a updated style.

Being a Graphic Designer the new jerseys was something I've been excited to see. First of all I love the new jerseys. They are definitely one of the best in the league, but after looking at them with my colleagues we all agree that the green numbers don't look right. They really should have went with the blue or yellow.

Also color balance is incredibly important when it comes to design graphics, logos, clothing, anything. Complaining about color balance is definitely appropriate when critiquing the new jerseys.

The green numbers do make color balance and symmetry on both jerseys. If the Jazz had used blue numbers on the home jerseys, it means they need to use white numbers on the away jerseys to keep both of the jerseys in balance or it wouldn't work. The jerseys are sick, wicked, and clever.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new jerseys. In my opinion the the green numbers on the home jersey do not balance right. Throughout the design of the logos and jerseys it's used great as an accent color, but on the home jersey is just doesn't seem like the right fit.

I'm guessing that some other teams will start taking notes from the Jazz jerseys.
