Agreed. There was so much more than just the big screen. It definitely exceeded my expectations. There were a few times I couldn't figure out where to look to see the score and other stats, though. That's going to take some getting used to.

I agree with "wow." Very visually impressive. Bigger than I thought it'd be. (that's what she said). The sound system seemed a lot clearer as well.
It was hard not having the scoreboard in the center, though. They should keep the players' stats up on the corner screens constantly instead of switching to ads periodically--as a fan I want to know how many fouls and points players have.

Yeah, I'm hoping the need to keep the players stats visible during the entire game became as obvious to them as it did to me. I guess I will eventually get used to looking for the score at the ends of the arena, but I preferred it when they included it at the bottom of the main screen and I think they should keep that element there all of the time.
The three lighting racetracks also looked sharp and were mostly well used, but I miss the hustle board stats. I think they should add that one back in somewhere. I wonder what they did with the plaques commemorating Stockton and Malone's accomplishments. I think those should remain in the arena somewhere (even though there are no longer any prominent spots available).
I hustle board stats were there on a rotating basis. The showed up mid court on the lower light ring.

Yup, yup, its all about the profit, the heck with customer service.
I will play the part of the crochety old guy and say I don't like these big screens. At the scrimmage, I found them to be way distracting. I go to a game to watch the action on the court. If I want to see it on a screen, I stay home and watch TV.

Stats should be superimposed over the ads, it shouldn't hurt the ad revenue, people will still be looking. my opinion.

The Jerk is seriously one of the funniest movies ever. First time I saw it was in highschool on late at night on TBS or something. I think I laughed out loud harder at the "profit game" line than at any other line in any movie.

I love the Video Boards. I am ambivilent about the rings, I am VERY disappointed in the stat boards, the sound is more clear but WAY TOO LOUD> I think the old hustle board was way more fan friendly and informative. 4 boards showing the box score of the 5 players on the court is meaningless to the big picture of the game. Shooting percentages only is not helpful I want to see how many shots have been made and attempted. does 66% 3 point shooting mean 4 of 6 or 16 of 24 makes a BIG difference. is 50% free throws 1/2 or 11/22 makes a huge difference. Every change I have seen them mak over the years has been to provide less pertinent information and it makes me mad.
