Caruso is the new guard version of Mirotic. By the 1st people will be telling you how much better he is than Rubio...

If Kawhi goes to the lakers, he'd instantly become the next worse version of Durant. At least Durant lost the finals before joining a superteam.

Maybe, although I am guessing some younger teams with plenty of room might make him a decent offer. Its not like he is unknown and every team is desperate for good shooters.

He is a RFA right? So if we made him an offer the Lakers would have until the 8th to match if we made it right on the 6th?

Not sure Kawhi would pair up with Lebron and AD. Think Leonard's a different cat that would rather have 'his' team and opt for LAC if he wants to go home.

I think LAL needs role players as three max guys will basically make them start minimum contracts everywhere else. Having a team three deep is going to be a problem when their bench is composed of Milt Palacios and Fesenkos of the world. Better hope you build up double-digit leads before the starters exit.

People wont be as angry at him and call him a coward like Durant. He has already won 2 finals MVPs with 2 teams. Durant hadnt won anything yet and joined a team to chase a ring. People will be mad at him making a super team again though. But if Durant stays with GS that is whats needed to beat them.

They will land solid vets chasing a ring for vet mins. Kawhi seems like a guy who doesnt want to be the main star. He seems like he wants to blend in.

A really good shooter that can pass the ball is a terrible fit? He'll have wide open 3s for days and knocks those down at a high percentage. He is also good at running the pick and roll and has two pretty good players to run that with. Plus signing Dlo gives them room to sign other players.

But my guess is its a bigger fish to sign, Kawhi, Butler, or Kemba. Outside chance of Irving.

He needs the ball. And at 37% he's a fine 3pt shooter. But mostly, this Laker team needs dudes who can flat out get after it on defense and that's the biggest issue with adding a guy like DLo. Danny Green would be a better fit. Lakers have scoring in spades.

I dont think he needs the ball. His open 3 point shots are great and he should be wide open. I do think they also need a 3 and D guy. But they do need another ball handler. Lebron does not want to bring the ball up anymore and run the point position as much as he used to. He wants a PG to do stuff with the ball. But there are better options and I think they will get one of the good max FAs.

He's much more likeable. I still think him going to the Lakers would make most fans of his like myself instantly change their tune. Let's all pray he doesn't ruin the league in a week.

I can’t see Kawhi going to the Lakers. That doesn’t seem like his kind of environment. If he goes to LA he’d fit much better with the Clippers.

Mother bleeper I been saying this for months... not since the 1st.

It’s tongue in cheek, but also I think he could be really under rated solely because he looks like a 7/11 store clerk. It’s the Joe Ingles effect.
 
Trade Favors. We got to. We can't afford to lose him for nothing. If even a 2nd rounder, don't just let him walk.

AND, don't we get a trade exception if we trade Favors?
