I read an article that touched on this exact point. Korver can be picked up by the Jazz if traded again, then waived... just not if waived by the team Utah traded him to.

If we are working on a deal for more shooting, it's not a bad option.
 
Korver looked done by end of year
First 40 games he looked good
Last 40 and playoffs he looked like he ran out of gas
Could not hit even wide open threes
Think his career is over

You are wrong... Dallas, Toronto, and the Lakers are all lining up for him. I'd say on the low end 3/45... on the high end 3/60.... there is no one left and there is still a lot of money.

If the Lakers max Kawhi, I don’t think they’ll have 15-20M on green. Toronto could but won’t need to imo. He’s just gonna follow Kawhi which means he won’t be going to dallas imo.

He won't just follow Kawhi. You are wrong sir... Dallas is holding their space for Green or Gallo. If Kawhi chooses the clips they can clear enough space sending Gallo out to sign both of them. If he stays in Toronto I think they open the treasure chest for Green... if Kawhi goes to the Lakers then Green goes to Dallas.

Worst case Green could find $10M on a 1+1 deal somewhere... he won't settle for the room exception with the Lakers. He needs to maximize his earnings.

We shall see. Everything I read said Green is going to follow Kawhi to the Lakers.
 
I don't think Dallas is holding on to this cap space for anyone in particular. Seems like they're in this position every year and they inevitably end up taking on a bad contract in trade.

I literally saw some stuff that said he may not wait on Kawhi and that he is going to chase dollars because its his last big deal.

There really isn't a way for us to do it. It would cost a first and we couldn't/shouldn't do that... the protections on the pick make it hard. I think you need to bookmark this narrative for now.

If Dante is healthy he might have some value at the trade deadline if something decent is available. I'm 90% sure we keeping that contract until it is done. We will be over the cap and likely using exceptions next summer.
 
One thing I'm confident in is Massai… If he is getting the last say I think he can make a convincing argument.
