What's new

NFL 2015 Season Discussion Thread

Wow in the replay looked like he barely brushed his thumb... never thought it would be season ending... what a freak accident!!

Look at the bright side Bengal fans - now the TV folks have an excuse to show Katherine Webb 40 times a game.

Right? What an egg they laid.

Denver must fix that red zone O. And they have only given up 1 fumble all year and they gave up 2...
They need to teach their highest paid WR to catch the damn ball. 3 drops yesterday 1 for a TD and 2 more for critical first downs. Follow that up with a huge drop by Vernon Davis on 4th down that he may have scored a TD on.

Amen to that. Passes dropped by Denver WR and TEs all year.

Dropped passes this year is seriously an epidemic, I don't get it. When you first start messing around with a football you throw and catch it......it's natural and these guys are so cocky and flamboyant and show boating on a 2 yard catch when they're down 30 in the 4th yet they can't make the easy catches.

It's tough being a Buccs fan

At least they finally have a good QB. If they could get some better players at some of the other skill positions, or if they alread do they catch the ball better then I see a playoff push next year. Didn't the GM just say he wouldn't trade Winston for ANY other QB?

Norman v. Beckham Jr. was the best thing I've seen from the NFL in awhile. Loved it.

ODB acted like a complete jackass. And the rest of the team just looked the other way while he turned the game into his own personal battle while Carolina tacked on touchdown after touchdown.

Zero leadership and a perfect illustration of why this team has set a new standard for late 4th quarter meltdowns this year.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested for another DUI in Carter County on December 19th at 4:45 in the morning. This marks the second time Blackmon has been arrested since his indefinite suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy back during the 2012 NFL season.

Anybody still taking Osweiler over Peyton?

I am.

Manning has thrown 9 TDS and 17 Ints this year in 8 games and has a QB rating of 67.6

Osweiler has thrown 8 TDS and 4 Ints this year in 5 games and has QB rating of 84.9.

Now not all of this is on the QBs. Manning is not a mobile QB and Osweiler is much better at that. This matters when your O line is crap. Osweiler works much better in Kubiaks offense. As shown by the improved run game with Osweiler under center. Denver WRs and TEs, outside of E. Sanders, have been dropping passes (for Manning and Osweiler) all season long. In fact V. Davis has dropped a very catchable pass for a huge 1st down pass in 4th Q drives each of the last two games. Don't even get me started on D. Thomas... Now none of that would matter if this Manning was the version of the last 2-3 seasons. But unfortunately he is not. He is a 39 year old QB that can no longer stay healthy or throw the way he used to. Father Time always wins.

For this team right now Osweiler is the better choice.

Check this footage out.. the Panthers were threatening Beckham with a bat on the field before the game.............
