No I haven't. I just think it is an over stated argument. Especially if he wins this SB. then he will be 2-2 in the SB.

Have you watched all the playoff games he's been in?

You honestly think he's come through in the clutch more times than not? This isn't something you can quantify by numbers. You have to watch the game and what happens when it matters most.

His reputation of a choker isn't floating around for no reason.

This just goes to show that you have not read the last couple pages. And IF you have than you did a terrible job understanding what you read.

I am not arguing that Manning is better than Brady. To me Brady is the GOAT. I've said this very thing in this very thread already. Another posts says that maybe Montana could challenge him for that title. Out of a list that included Manning.

But that doesn't mean that I don't think that this whole "Manning is a choke artist" narrative isn't over stated.

So try again? or not, whatever.

Admittedly, I've not read every post in this thread. My bad. But the Manning is a choke artist narrative isn't overstated nor understated. It's right where it should be. Romo, on the other hand, is a choker has been overstated.

Could Manning have a better playoff record? Clearly as you highlight with Brady's. But I just think it is over rated as argument because it is constantly used. yeah it matter as does everything else but people want to act like it is the defining argument and I just don't agree with that.

So honest question? If Manning goes in and wins SB 50 and ends up 3-1 in AFC title games and 2-2 in the SB will that change ya'lls opinion somewhat on Manning choking?

If he goes in and Manning losses it yea it'll play against him somewhat IMO.
 
If I was Wade Phillips I'd have watched every Panthers game yesterday and have dissected every single snap Oher played as Cam's blindside protector. I'd find out what moves have seen the most success against him and prep my guys accordingly. Collapse that entire side of the line and have the guys on the right ready for sacks and runs.

I don't think Manning is some huge choke artist.
 
Officially rooting HARD for the Broncos just cuz I wanna see head-explosions from the Patriots fanbase.
 
This is a tough game for me. I hate the broncos but I would like to see Peyton win and go out on top. On the flip side I kinda like the panthers but am kinda meh about Cam. Hmm I'll have to pick a rooting interest soon.

One of my brothers and my sister are Donkey fans. My younger brother is a Panthers fan. Not sure who to root against.
I stumbled into picking Cam in the mid rounds in fantasy football this year. Rode that bitch all the way to the championship game.

Fair enough. But I'm not a Manning fan, I'm a Broncos fan. I can think of a half dozen players off the top of my head I like more than him on the Broncos. Ware, Miller, Sanders, Wolfe, Harris and Osweiler. I want them to win because their D has earned this chance. Not Manning or the O. Win or lose I hope Manning retires and the team can move forward.
