NFL 2016 Season Thread

Really? Kaep sat first and then started kneeling and the story blew up. That led to all sorts of demonstrations and protests. Brandon Marshall on the Broncos started kneeling, Falcons & Saints praying at mid field, Seahawks linking arms, Jazz, Blazers, Warriors, Giants, Bucks...

I'm not going to pull the 100s of links for you. Now if you are looking for a story that gives Kaep the credit i'm sure there are a few out there. But this story blew up with him and everyone else followed suit.

Edit: or do you mean link to him being the hot story? If that is your point well it's called an opinion with a clarifier as to why I hold that opinion. Time will tell.

lies. sensationalism. credulity.

Sorry I couldn't jump in on the NFL thread till now but have been without power for 4 days plus, because of "himacane" Matthew down here on the coast of SC! Anyway, actually got to see the Falcons systematically dismantle the Bronco's Sunday as I had a buddy of mind who is head of the City Engineering and they had a generator and power when the game came on! I, of course, invited myself over, and it was a thing of beauty, don't ya think? Completely out coached to the point that the Falcons put the Bronco's head coach in the hospital with a super migraine headache! They knew the Bronco's DB's were tough so what did they do? Threw to the running backs coming out the backfield who were matched on the much slower linebackers! Of course, if Peyton Manning would have been the Bronco's QB the game would have certainly been closer! But as it is, my Falcons are now have the 3rd spot in this weeks power rankings, and if they can duplicate the game they just had against the SeaHawks this Sunday, we will be taking over that top spot!

Charges leading Broncos early... this is gonna be a bit more interesting than I thought.

For those of you who may have just started watching football, a divisional game in the AFC West is always interesting, especially if the presumably better team is on the road.

It's been very painful watching Phillip Rivers trying to 'heave' the football, for the lack of a better word.

Complete opposite to when Wentz does it. Effortless.

Chargers shouldn't pass so much. If Denver can do one thing it's defend the pass. They need to keep balanced. They should just go for every fourth down too cuz the Broncos offense is awful.
