Bennett is the new Hernandez because it allows the Patriots to run that specific offense. The Patriots have been unable to run that offense because it only works if they have TWO elite tight ends. I didn't actually mean that Bennett was a reincarnated version of Hernandez. Clearly they are two separate human beings. Haha how stupid are you?

If I explain this to you with crayons and a drawing will that help?

Bennett is a good player, but he isn't elite. He is playing with Brady and Gronk so he looks better, but elite players at any position don't need HOF'ers to make them look good.

He was a Pro Bowl tight end with Jay Cutler as a QB. That's enough proof he is elite. He broke Mike Ditka's TE reception streak in Chicago.

You don't watch the NFL if you think this was his first good game.

But you said he was only good because he was playing with the Patriots. Again he was a pro bowl TE with Jay friggin Cutler. I don't care if you think he isn't "elite" in your book. All I am saying is he is elite enough to where the Patriots can start going back to the two TE set offense.

Well Jay Cutler is elite by your definition because he made a pro bowl one year.

I guess my definition of elite is just stricter. I don't call one pro bowl season in an 8 year career elite.

If he can string a few pro bowls in a row then I would.
