Niners might have the most conservative offense in modern football history. Yes, even worse than the Broncos'.

Someone needs to remind Harbaugh he isn't playing Wash St. anymore. Stocking your backfield with defensive linemen and running the same play to the right 3 times in a row doesn't work. The Giants aren't stupid. And that retarded Alex Smith playfake faked no one.

If the Niners ran a good offensive scheme and actually got the ball downfield to playmakers Davis and Crabtree, they'd be the most feared team in the league. That defense was the most dominate I've seen since the super bowl Ravens with Tony Saragusa.

Yet, their kick returner, gross, offense barrrrfffff, and classless Harbaugh doomed them.

I blame Harbaugh. Where did I blame Smith? I just said his playfake faked no one.

Look @ their scheme! The SF WR core gave them 3 receptions for 39 yards. That's pathetic. Gore had 3 times as many receptions as Crabtree. This isn't the 60s. The NFL of today features WRs. Big plays. Playmakers. They failed to get their WRs involved. And it's not like this is the only time. They just... Quite honestly, don't trust their WRs. Both Harbaugh's surprisingly, seem to think that it's the offense's job to waste time and to not goof up. Instead of attacking and utilizing their talent. Both Harbaugh's have QBs with strong arms, solid O-lines, and explosive WRs. Yet, they fail to utilize them.

they were 1-13 on third down, and you want to know why?

From formation to playcalling. Too conservative. In order to beat a good defense like the Giants, you're going to have to spread things out like what Tom Brady and that Pats are going to do.

If the Niners just run a halfway decent passing attack (not the NFL's 29th ranked one) they win this game. And it probably isn't even that close.

How so? This is a great superbowl matchup. Its a rematch of the greatest superbowl ever

Would you rather have the BCS do the matchups for you? Determine the super bowl matchups?

We cry about how things should be decided on the field and when they are, some of you bitch.

This is going to be awesome. The two best teams playing against each other. One great offense vs one team that won't die. They've been through hell. Played against tough teams. Earned the right to the super bowl. Now, we'll decide ON THE FIELD who the #1 Football team in all the land is.

Even if we had a hellishly boring offensive matchup like the Ravs/Niners, I still wouldn't complain since this stuff is being decided ON THE FIELD. If the Ravens and Niners had proven to be the top two teams, then that would have been awesome. They didn't. So don't moan now because some computer didn't hand your Niners the super bowl.
 
Id be proud of my team if I was KatieMCR. No one could have predicted that they'd come this far. What a great season for both of the Harbraugh brothers, and Football in general. I was hoping for a Ravens/(era matchup, but Ill be rooting for the Giants now.

Not close to best superbowl ever. And pretty much I like to see teams that have not been there and done that. I'll admit I'm hating. I am completely sick of the pats. And I had no interest in seeing a rematch in the superbowl. Especially a recent rematch.
