And Alex Smith shows why he's not considered a top-tier QB. Terrible, terrible game. The guy can't throw deep and can't perform under pressure. He doesn't even have the sense to run out of bounds when the clock is ticking. I don't care if he completes 75-80% of his passes. A four yard gain on 3rd and 8 is no better than an incompletion down the field.
DoneHack, did you get your PM box cleared out? Do it now man. Clean your room if you want to be able to hang with your friends on the jazzfanz
No, Alex Smith has the best defense, the best offense line, a top running game, a top special teams, and a great coaching staff. He even has a nice arm. But he still has no idea how to play quarterback at a high level. Dude rolls out way too much. Throws on chevron too much. Doesn't know how to use the pocket.
I don't want to argue with you Hack. Let's just agree to agree that you're wrong and move on. No hard feelings.
Yes, Alex Smith sucks. So what he had one good playoff game against the Saints. Its about time. He is lucky to even be playing in the NFL. The 49ers have been holding his hand too long. He still don't get how to play quarterback. He has no idea what the pocket is for. He rolls out everytime there is any pressure.
He couldn't complete a pass in the NFC championship game. That's why they went and got him a bunch of receivers and he still can't throw the ball down the field on a regular basis. Why do you think the 49ers were ready to dump him for an aging and broken down Peyton Manning?
I'm a Utes fan too, so there is no bias here.
Alex Smith sucks donkey balls.
