NFL Thread 12-13

£¥£ didn't see anything wrong with screwing the Fudge Packers.

On a side note. If you gambled on this game, you either got royally screwed, or super Lucky. The Pack were favored by 3. I'm sure Vegas will be a buzz about this.

The NFL just fed everyone a crockpot full of it. Forget the last play, the entire 4th quarter was b.s. Everything from roughing the passer to that defensive when everyone else saw offensive pass interference call... that entire drive was ref gift wrapped.

I'm not a fan of any NFL team. Green Bay definitely had the interception and Tate got away with a pretty blatant pass interference. You have to give Tate a lot of credit for getting his arms in there and holding on and giving the officials the chance to mess it up, which they did.

I get that the replacement officials suck.

But what about these dudes doing the replay? They're the normal guys and they still couldn't get it right. It's either an interception or an incomplete pass. There's no way it's TD for Seattle.

I could be totally wrong since I don't follow the NFL, but don't the replay officials just get as many angles as they can to the referee, who makes the final call? Or do the replay officials make the decision?

The ESPN guys were saying that who had possession wasn't something they could overturn in the review. They had some head NFL official guy talking about how it couldn't be overruled. No idea why, that's just what they said. It's all anyone will talk about this week so I'm sure we'll find out why it couldn't be reversed

People will be discussing/whining about this one for years.

In the NFL, it's the on-field referee who does the review of a play and makes the decision. College has replay officials in the booth.
