No CJ Miles and we make the playoffs!

Would we have made the playoffs if CJ Miles was in the lineup? Would he have cost the Jazz these last important games, like he did last year as a starter when we went on that losing streak to end the season?

That little stretch when Howard played tonight was the worst bit of Jazz basketball I've seen in a long time.

Long story short, we're really lucky all our bad players go injured.

We're really unlucky that they're getting better right around the playoffs.

Where is CJ? Is he with the team? Rehabbing playing 2k12?
I haven't noticed him on the sideline.

I have actually been wondering the same thing. I haven't paid much attention to CJ and just noticed he hasn't been anywhere in sight for a while now. Hm.
Not complaining.

It is unfortunate, but I agree.

I wonder if Corbin is thinking to himself that it has been so great not having to justify to the vets why their minutes should be reduced, and now I will have to start having those difficult conversations with them again.

If CJ, Bell and Howard are healthy they still should not play. This team got in the playoffs because they were hurt. Not despite them being hurt.

I would give Bell a trial run on Thursday. If he plays well I would give him 15 minutes a game in the playoffs.

I would be very upset if this happens. Bell is better for the team being nowhere near the team. If Bell comes back it pushing Hayward back to SF. Hayward is better at SG and much better than Bell. 15 MPG for Bell is too much if he was 100% healthy and had been with the team the entire season.

That said I believe Bell has been better for weeks and I doubt he even dresses for the playoffs. I just think they got sick of his antics and poor play and Odomed him.

Offensively Hayward can have the exact same role. All Bell would be is a floor spacer.

Please for the love if god, don't bring back Bell.

Doesn't anyone find it a little strange that all of sudden he is ready to go. Little strange too that it was at the same time sw Josh.

I'd treat them like a little kid. "We talked about this and you know why. Do not bring it up again."

Bell needs to play 3 minutes in Game 1 - put Ginobli on his back a la Kobe a few years ago and then spend the rest of the playoffs suspended.

Bell is good for a few hard fouls - maybe ten minutes worth. I like Bell, but he's just not the player he used to be and unfortunately, it would mess up our lineup. Personally, I'd like to see Tinsley in the lineup more, even if it means bringing Harris off the bench. Harris could bring some offensive punch, like CJ was supposed to.
