What's new

No CJ Miles and we make the playoffs!

Bell and Howard could be used as backups off the bench with limited minutes on this current playoff team. But if Corbin goes back to CJ the clown the party is over. I think this team, without the clown, is dangerous and could knock off the Spurs. Just Let them play and don't pander to the losers.

Would we have made the playoffs if CJ Miles was in the lineup? Would he have cost the Jazz these last important games, like he did last year as a starter when we went on that losing streak to end the season?

nah i think no watson for 20-24 mpg is more of a factor

It is unfortunate, but I agree.

I wonder if Corbin is thinking to himself that it has been so great not having to justify to the vets why their minutes should be reduced, and now I will have to start having those difficult conversations with them again.

wekk those vets will have to go and cry to their mamma Sorry i mean go discus their future with their agent

Bell is good for a few hard fouls - maybe ten minutes worth. I like Bell, but he's just not the player he used to be and unfortunately, it would mess up our lineup. Personally, I'd like to see Tinsley in the lineup more, even if it means bringing Harris off the bench. Harris could bring some offensive punch, like CJ was supposed to.

NO

Please for the love if god, don't bring back Bell.

there was that stretch where redd was burning us and i was thinking maybe we should bring bell in. Glad we could get it done without him though. burks made 2 nice back to plays with the 3 ball then the tough shot at the rim.

I think I'd prefer CJ to Bell or Howard at this point. Howard is a bigger chucker and passes less. Bell is worse defensively and does nothing on offense. It's close though. I'd rather not have any of them getting any minutes.

Here's my list of absent vets in order, starting with the worst. I would prefer that they all just stay away. Use the players that got us here.

1. CJ (probably the most destructive player ever to play for Utah. Corbin was very lucky when CJ got injured because he could not see the damage. If CJ plays, we lose to the Spurs without a doubt)
2. Watson (Not a great play maker or scorer, but pretty good leader)
3. Bell (Not bad on defense)
4. Howard (When healthy a good player)
