What's new

No jazz? I think the League is in for a surprise

Look at last year. Almost everyone had the Jazz dead last. They took 8th. That was with a team that could not space the floor for crap.

No this year we have better shooters and our young guys will be better. If we can pace the floor Big Al, Millsap, Favors and Kanter are going to have a field day with oposing teams. I think the Jazz will finish around 5th in the west.

I sure hope so, stick it to the man. utah will be one of the few teams without a proclaimed star. we have the potential to do alot this year. and i have a real good feeling.

So do I. Expecially with the physical/body improvements being mentioned about Burks and Kanter. That plus spreading the floor and the Jazz will dominate teams.

you take that ^^^ into acount and just the overal depth of our team... i have preached this for weeks now, but when we put our bench in we really dont loose much. i honestly belive our bench is going to destoy other teams benches, and will be able to give teams starters a run for their money. heck we could pull a SAS and just leave a few players home lol.

No reason for us to really make this list, those teams are more about intrigue than success. We really didn't make any blockbuster changes, but we should be better. Notice the Grizzlies and Spurs aren't in the list either.

True, but you gotta admit from a casual NBA perspective CP3/Blake predictions are more intriguing than Hayward/Millsap.

this. mo/marvin/foye might feel like big acquisitions to us, but remember that this is a year when some big names changed teams.

plus, the clips got odom, an underrated piece of two title teams.

Jazz are going to fly under the radar for the first half of the season and then take off. Look at our schedule: 24 of the first 39 games are on the road (through Jan. 12th). I have Utah winning 50 games, but I project - and I'll be happy with - a .500 record at that point. Then I see the Jazz going on a nice streak as they play 14 of 19 at home.

What do you think a 50 win season will give them? I'd say 6th seed.
