Who will be preaching to him?
Auto-correct being a bitch.
Who will be preaching to him?
Playing the Mavs would make it easier to advance while also not rushing Conley back.I don’t understand: (1) the fear of the Clippers; and (2) even if the Clippers were actually good, the fear of playing good teams.
Do we think the Jazz are a Championship-level team or not?
If we have the truth, it cannot be harmed. If we have not the truth, it ought to be harmed.
I want to play and beat the Clippers, because it better prepares us to win a Championship. And if we really aren’t there yet, I want the painful medicine to be taken so we make necessary changes in the offseason.
Irrelevant. You're approaching this from the perspective of the Jazz being 100% healthy. In that regard, yes, I agree with you that we shouldn't fear the Clippers.I don’t understand: (1) the fear of the Clippers; and (2) even if the Clippers were actually good, the fear of playing good teams.

I think we’ll need Conley to win either series.Irrelevant. You're approaching this from the perspective of the Jazz being 100% healthy. In that regard, yes, I agree with you that we shouldn't fear the Clippers.
However, with an injured Conley? It's only reasonable to want the Mavs so that we don't necessarily need Conley this series.
I don't think we need Conley to beat the Mavs.Playoff P is

I was hoping it went to game 7 no matter who we played so Conley got some more rest.
I don't think we need Conley to beat the Mavs.
I don't know if I'd go that bold but I think we'd split the first two games without him and then be fine from there.Would rather not test that theory.
I think we'd be okay without Conley against the Mavs. it'd probably go six or seven but I think the Jazz could absorb his loss.I don't know if I'd go that bold but I think we'd split the first two games without him and then be fine from there.
Against the Clippers I think we'd drop Game 1 without him and have to rush him back for Game 2 and immediately be in a must-win situation. Not ideal.
This isn't gymnastics or ice skating. All that matters is you win a championship. I have never heard anyone say well they didn't play anyone even though they won the championship. You play who is in front of you. I am glad the Mavs and Clippers are going seven games. It gives the Jazz players who are banged up more time to heal. Any one who wins the championship this year will have earned it. There are plenty of very good teams to face still.I don’t understand: (1) the fear of the Clippers; and (2) even if the Clippers were actually good, the fear of playing good teams.

Just getting to the WCF is not impressive if you didn’t have to beat anyone to get there.
Conley missed the 2nd half of the last game due to injury and Mitchell is still pretty recently recovered from a bad ankle sprain.I don’t understand: (1) the fear of the Clippers; and (2) even if the Clippers were actually good, the fear of playing good teams.

idk if the jazz want the mavs tbh...they are sharp
Yamers gonna yamwho ever the jazz get, it's going to be a REALLY tough series......like really tough.

This and the Mavs have 3 x 7 footers. BOOOOBAAAAAHNNNNThe Clippers are a weird team. They have two ball-dominant wings, a hodge-podge of mediocre guards (assuming Reggie Jackson reverts to his mediocre self), and either Zubac or an out-of-position Batum or Morris at the 5.
They're going to have a tough time guarding Mitchell and Gobert with the personnel they've been playing.
Fun fact - the Clippers have lost their last 8 playoff games at Staples Center. If the Jazz/Clippers were to faceoff, it'll take up to game 7 for one of them to win I think. They're both evenly matched. Jazz has to win all their home games for it to happen. Protect your homecourt!
