Not as bad as we thought?

Well, with the Jazz sitting at 3-3....and with the pathetic Grizzles headed to town on Friday.....that should make us 4-3! Looks like we may win most of our home games.....and lose all of our road games? In either case, it looks like the Jazz are not going to be as bad as we initially thought! But we've got to get this Raja Bell "trade" demand straighten out.....or it could become a big distraction to our team!:D

so winning games against bad teams by a small margin and looking terrable too boot makes them better than we thought. We really had low expectations.

We beat a Gordon-less Hornets team, and a Bogut-less Bucks team on our home court. Hardly impressive. Yes, we'll continue to get better as the season progresses, but I still say the playoffs ain't happening this year.

About what I expected actually. I think I said .500 for the season. Lots of ups and downs with the young team.

Relax.

We have yet to beat a team with a winning record. The Grizz? They're without Zach Randolf who is about 90 % of their offense.

All the teams we've faced with winning records have dominated us by double digits.

No... We're pretty bad... About as bad as we thought... Maybe even worse considering how crappy Raja, Devin, Hayward, and CJ have been. Our 3 point shooting has been pathetic and our assists are horrible. When you have as many assists for the season as Stockton used to get every two games, you're in trouble...

How soon we forget losing to a Bynumless Lakers team who were playing their THIRD game in THREE nights... And being dominated by them in ways that I've never ever seen.

Well since we are also a bad, then yes, winning against bad teams is a good thing.

Sixers are 3-2.

How soon you forget that was just the first game of the season.

So we beat bad teams? Would you rather we lost? Throughout the course of a season, you will inevitably face bad teams and teams who are missing key players. These are games you should win, and these wins count as much as any other. Good team beat bad teams, and they beat teams that are temporarily undermanned. They also find a way to win when they are not having an otherwise good night--'winning ugly.'

Last year the Jazz couldn't even beat bad teams (e.g., losing to the Wizards at home), so I see this as progress. Something to build on, not something to denigrate.

Exactly what I was thinking. Cant help to be excited about the W's no matter what circumstances we get them. I'm really hoping that this will at least raise team morale and hopefully we make some moves so that we can contend with the better teams in the league.

Wins are wins. They don't come easy in the NBA. Just ask the Knicks who were roasted by the lowly Bobcats tonight.

I still think we're pretty bad. Gonna win some games just based on effort and teamwork though.

I predicted 28 wins, still pretty comfortable with that prediction.

I was thinking close to that as well. I still think that it doesn't have to be that way though. If the Jazz stick with the team we have and dont surround our better young guys with some talent. Why would they want to stick around when free agency comes around. I feel KOC needs to make some moves so we can finish the season above 500.

It has been 6 game and we are 0-3 on the road and 3-0 at home. I think people should wait a little longer before they start making any kind of informed decision on how this season will turn out.

The Jazz are who they are. I don't mind the road blowouts, we weren't predicted to win those games anyways. I think Ty did a good job managing minutes for six games in eight nights. I just want the Jazz to be fun to watch. I think the youth on this team will make it fun. I hope we can stay competitive at home and sneak a few on the road.

....well, if we beat Golden State tonight...go to 5-3....ESPN might have to give us some press....and consider us the surprise team of the lock out season!
