They are definitely better than us if we shoot 28% from three and they shoot 50% from three. Im willing to bet that if we were hitting 50% from three and they were shooting 28% then we would be winning. Sometimes its just that simple. Make shots and look good. Miss shots and look bad.I think the heat are legitimately better than us.
His defensive effort is not really the issue. He has been scrappy even in the Denver series. When he is one on one, I can get not being able to do much. It's just being lost everytime when getting back on transition or in rotation, overhelping, that crab-walking closeout which I can't wrap my head around. He just doesn't understand where he needs to be or what he needs to do.To be fair his defensive effort has been much better this season so far. He's had a few very solid defensive efforts this game but Butler made the tough shot over him. Sometimes good D gets beat by better offense.
Easy to get back in transition if you make your shots. especially from 3 (long rebounds) Thats the problem this game. Missing too much from deep. This is unfortunately what I feel a prelude to the playoffs will be, where we can’t get back in transition and end up having too much pressure to have our offense look like it should and you end up with a lot of scoring lulls, with fast breaks off our misses.
