What's new

He is, also he's looked old his whole career. He's looked done multiple times over his career and bounces back. Maybe this is the time he doesn't though.

I thought he looked much better tonight. Passing was great, defense was better and he looked like he was moving better. His shot was a little off but I was encouraged by the way he played tonight.

We beat the Bucks with half their team out and also held off the Nuggets without their two best players. I think this is a good strategy going forward for us. We probably would have beat the Clippers if PG was out like Kawhi.

another reason Quin is not a GREAT coach. He over plays his starters in blow outs. No development. No creativity. Rigid stiff and frankly god damn boring
We desperately need some juice from our draft picks. Especially if Clarkson is going to build houses most of the time and Jingles is checked out. I kept waiting to see Eliza or Butler get some burn. I mean we were up 25+ for almost the entire 2nd half. I don’t know when butler eventually got put in, but I noticed it around the 3 min mark of the 4th. 3 mins isn’t going to develop the kid.

Meanwhile, Grayson Allen is currently averaging 16 pts on 45 percent shooting.

So the recipe for our success is 2 days rest, practice and game on our home court, and the other team missing 4 of their best players. Sounds sustainable.

We’ll easily win a championship if we can play with great effort and all of our opponents are down their top two players.

Not if we miss shots. Making shots is the number 1 factor in a win or a loss for us (and most teams)

With regard to Butler... 3 minutes at the end of the game in garbage time... and about 2 hours from when he warmed up.

Forrest is fine, but there isn't any upside there. He is a replacement level defender game manager. A great insurance policy on a two way deal... solid value. No need to stunt Butler development by playing him.

If we had Butler on a 4 year rookie deal I am cool with putting him in the long term G League path. We have him for two years. Next year we get a potential great value... if he plays well he will get a decent offer somewhere... he could struggle and you get another chance at a cheap deal but his contract structure would have me putting him on the fast track.
